You're just like the folks who have run it into the ground

Really? How so?

Don't be coy. Everyone here knows who hates Keyes.

How so?

You're divisive, destructive and self-serving.

Pretty simple, really.

I don't think they did. I posted a thread last night about the Ill. GOP by the chicago Tribune and one of the Keyelaiders had it pulled. You might want to visit their site and check it out. Not all is well in Happyville.

Typical. Anyone who disagrees about anything "hates Keyes".

I'd rather support a chimpanzee than Osama bin Bama!

Bama is a socialist who will march in lockstep with the rest of the congressrats (Conyers, Waters, etc. etc.) who carry cards identifying them as such.

Your negativism is so two months ago, and at this point in a general election would be more appropriate on DU.

I can understand your position, being involved with Keyes' campaign as you are. I'm merely stating an honest opinion. Alan Keyes is going to get his ass handed to him on a platter in this election.

The Illinois Republican Party was foolish on two counts. First, they should have nominated somebody from Illinois. Second, they should not have nominated Alan Keyes, who is far too inflammatory to be electable in Illinois.

You're divisive, destructive and self-serving.

The irony is that those Illinois Republicans who "ran the Illinois GOP into the ground" actually won elections. What brought them down was political corruption, not intra-party divisiveness.

It is also ironic that a political advisor for a candidate who is garnering only 44% support among Republicans can accuse someone else of being "divisive".

Me too. And in this case the alternative is so much better than a chimpanzee! ;-)

Alan Keyes is a statesman, and statesmanship is something that is sorely lacking in our political life in this country today.

Interesting that people who (you are talking to) have never participated in Illinois politics suddenly know so much about the State.

Republican Alan Keyes says if he were elected to the U.S. Senate, he would push hard for the implementation of tariffs on imports, while his Democratic opponent, Barack Obama, says such a plan could spark a trade war that would hurt Illinois.

Since last night I've seen you several times accusing us of getting threads pulled. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is the Keyes-bashers who have always come on to Keyes threads for the last four years and turned them into flame-fests that cause them to get pulled.

As to your link, who cares what the MSM is spinning? I don't.

In case you haven't noticed, they are not our friends. Most FReepers know this basic fact of life.

The fact that you have to use a hostile MSM story as your basis for attack says alot about you. But nothing those of us who have paid attention don't already know.

Why am I not surprised that you know so little about him?

" Obama is spending very little time in IL. He's running from all but two debates. "

It just sounds like he's sitting on a big lead. Politics as usual.

Who says I am attacking Keyes by posting an article in the Chicago Trib? Please ping the site owner and mods. You will see that the article I posted from the Chicago Trib was not something I said or showed support of in any way.

If this is the case, then we better only post stuff from Fox News.

Not exactly. He ran from the number of debates he had promised from the get-go.
