Bein orange

Having to spend each day the color of the leaves

Or pumpkins

When I think it could be nicer being red or yellow or green Or something much more colorful like that

It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things

Not standing out like beer bottle pieces in the gutter

Or rocks on the ground

But orange 's the color of Autumn

And orange can be cool and friendly-like

Or important like a debate

Or tall like a microphone

When orange is all there is to be

It could make you wonder why

I am orange and it'll do fine

It's beautiful! So citruscy

And I think it's what I want to be
