John Walker Lindh asked President Bush on Tuesday to commute his 20-year prison term for his 2002 conviction of aiding the Taliban. So as to encourage other anti-American jackwits to take up arms against our nation? I don't frickin' think so.
Shut up and rot, Taliban John. You made your bed, now lie in it.

I'm surprised they haven't used the 'he has ADHD' defense.

I definitely agree with you. If he sets the precedent of being excused for committing such treason, others will be encouraged. Somebody must put a stop to this before the ACLU tries to win the court over!
To: OXENinFLA
Sorry, couldn't find it in my searches. I'll be more careful next time.

I agree that his sentence be reduced as long as he forfeits his US citizenship and is deported to some Muslim country.

AP does it again. There is no such thing as an American Taliban. American born convert to Islam then joins the Taliban maybe.
The title should read "convicted criminal..."

The White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Its hard to respond to a request for comment when you're doubled over in laughter.
Rot in prison, Johnny. I'm only sorry it wasn't 40 years sans parole.

No way, not even then, IMO!

Lindh already got a reduction when life in prison/death penatly was taken off the table. let him rot for the 20 years and think about how stupid he is. GWB will never commute this sentence. Stupid Liberals think give it a little time and everything is forgiven and forgotten. Maybe in 20 years but not now!

Do you think that that's the result of bias in Lindh's favor?
To: asgardshill
I was sorry he wasn't charged and convicted of
treason against the U.S. and gotten the death penalty.
I just imagine how poor Shannon Spann feels, God bless her!
To: Americanwolfsbrother
Thank God he won't! But if sKerry gets elected...I'm not so sure.
To: atruelady
For her sake, and for the sake of the widows and families left behind from 9/11, he doesn't deserve parole.
To: conservativo
Hmmmm ... why not wait until Kerry's elected?
What's that you say?
You don't think Kerry's going to get elected?
Shame.

Why? So he can kill innocents abroad? Feed him to the dogs. Or in his case, the general inmate population.

Good idea; that's money saved on food costs.
