The judgmental ones who are so damn sure they're right about everything.
The ones who believe if you don't believe exactly what they believe you're a leftie.

Would be LOL if it wasn't sadly true.

It's just that I'm not sure with most whether they are repelled by homosexuals because of religious beliefs or because their hard drive mental programming makes them that way.
Christ said "he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone." And He also said, "Mary has chosen the better part."
So, I diverge from those that claim to be fundamentalist Christians in a couple of attitudes on a couple of issues.
However, like Zell, I have hardly anything in common with Democrats.

Folks knew about Koch way back even when I lived in Manhattan in the 80s when he was the "How Am I Doing?" mayor but he never ever flaunted it at all.
Drier?....I have no idea. My wife thinks he's good looking.
I'm glad to have Koch as a voice for our side btw.

Clinton should have taught you that the private life does count. Clinton could have gotten a blow job from his dog for all I cared .. it wasn't about sex ..
It was about obstruction of justice, harassment, lying under oath and corruption

...it's not hard to have a KO when you are up against a bunch intellectual "pantywaists"...And people wonder why other people think the GOP is mean-spirited.

God is programmed the SAME WAY! Read your Bible...

So character isn't an issue with you?Nice try. But wrong.
I just don't think I live a life pious enough to judge other people's personal lives.
Unlike you.

"I just don't want someones private dealings thrust in my face"
Nor our childrens'...guard thine eyes, thine ears and thine heart...Some people are just too self-absorbed to understand. Soon we will be, on this thread or in days to come, be called the 'Taliban' extreme whacko right wing! Bring it on! I'm a Jesus freak and proud of it - and I have more compassion in this old Conservative than any 10 "Compassionate Conservatives" that I know combined.

Actually, before SCOTUS found a mysterious "right to sodomy" in the Constitution, homosexual behavior was illegal in many jurisdictions. IT likely still is, as I'm sure that not everyone rushed out to conform their laws to the Court's whim.

You say people are spouting "crap" and you call ME mean-spirited...!
To: Lurking2Long
I'm sure there are plenty of things that are on your lists of things that need to be illegal.
I wouldn't be surprised if women having the vote was one of them.

I see. You like your politics with "nuance." Lucky there's a candidate for you in this election.
To: patriciaruth
You and I both know if Jesus Christ walked this earth today these very same people would be carping about him wearing a dress and hanging out with that bunch of guys. Jesus would be WAY too liberal for them.

And you don;t think folks who are willing to accept corruption in their private life are not willing to import the same attitude to their public life? You;d be voting for schizophrenics if that were the case.
