I'd rather talk about what things looked like 8 years later on klintons last day in office...
# 1......Economy in, or on the brink of recession
# 2......stock market into it's 8th month of crash...
# 3......tech bubble bursting
# 4......manufacturing hemmoraging jobs since '95
# 5......alqeada in the US, training in our flight schools, learning to more effeciently kill us.
# 6......military gutted

I prefer to use a <p>

There, with a paragraph (empty line) between (above and this) ...
Here, with just a new line, but no empty line.

The fact that the consequences are extensive indicates that the power of the office is also extensive.

I think the people have conceded too much power to central authority.

It's good.. you are right. To me, the Clinton administration was equivalent to putting 3-year-olds with good "language skills" into a room with loaded guns. They emasculated intelligence; they sought to prevent Americans from self-defense; they promoted discrimination among Americans through their preferential and non-ending biases for their own voting constituency; they opened our borders to hardened criminal entry. One could say, the Clinton Administration was simply unskilled, inexperienced, dreamers. This is the polite "civil" version.

The Clinton administration fostered and encouraged "incivility" across the nation; and now Dems keep whining about how "uncivil" is discourse in this time.

There is a far more accurate word choice to describe the Clinton administration and their results from policies -- but we, as a culture, aren't ready yet to see any more "hangings" like we did in Fallujah. American's haven't yet grown the spine necessary to address a very uncivil, anti-American movement within our own borders. And why? Many are yet fuzzy on the "free speech" thing.

Posit: Liberals for years clamored that "words equal actions" -- and so they foisted "hate crimes" upon America.

But yet, they can foster "murder Bush" rhetoric -- and this is not considered hate crime because it doesn't specifically assert a "race or sexual orientation" trip-wire. Whites, and males do not receive the same legal protections as any other "defined" group by the anti-American "free speechers". There is evil in our own country, and they call themselves "progressives". And they will not accept responsibility for the incivilities they've spawned all across this great nation. No. In fact, they seem quite proud of that fact. What upsets them, is that Americans have awakened to the ruse. The age of "liberalism" is drawing to a close.

"a Kerry Administration would more or less be The End Of The World As We Know It."

There is no "more or less" to it.
If Kerry is elected it will be the end of America as we know it, but not for the reasons listed.

We are marching inexorably down the road to socialism, and socialism is a far greater threat to our society than terrorism ever will be.

Terrorism is a tangible threat which we can meet and defeat with whatever means it takes to do so.
The push toward socialism is an intangible menace which eats at the core of our belief system and destroys the basic foundation of our society.

Although I'm not fond of the politically expedient philosophy of "moderate" Republicanism espoused by GW, he is a far cry from the socialism embraced by Kerry and the Democratic Party.

I too voted for Perot in '92 which, in hindsight, helped put the Clintoon into office. I will never make that mistake again.

I think the comments on this thread are dead on target. Until we defeat the islamifacists we can not afford to have a liberal, socialist, UN-hugging, apease-nic Democrat in the oval office. As Zell Miller pointed out...that is all that is left in the Democratic party.

Actually, I was more concerned that I'd properly captured your intent when formatting.

As for content, I think it a fair way of expressing it. I'd be prone to be more detailed which, in light of Clintons behaviour pre-1994 election, would sound a bit nuts.

Setting the stage is GHWB's "no new taxes" pledge, that the Democrats raked him over the coals with - understanding that he didn't propose the tax increase, but instead compromised with the Dems. That takes a lot of gall to pillory your opponent for compromising with you.

Recall the things that he and the dems were doing: A year into his term, the Clinton Administration had over 300 people working in the White House without security clearances, many of whom had never even applied. Congress had special commitees which were composed of all Democrats. Democrats would often submit legislation to be voted out of committee minutes before the vote, so that Republicans could be put on the record for voting against it.

The infamous Sherburne Report includes page after page of lists of scandals the Clinton White House thought it could be held to account for - many of which were not known at the time, and some of which strongly imply direct tampering with active investigations.

Hillary selling short in pharmeceuticals, then crashing the market by some 40%. An investigation found her not responsible for stock manipulation because she crashed the entire industry, not just a few specific ones.

Clinton was LOOKING for religious folk to set up a military-style raid on before he even took office.

Setting up a shadow government where people appointed to positions were not the ones actually exercising the authority of the position.

Inserting cronies into positions where investigation progress would be fed to purley political operatives (that would lie to their diaries).

Using revelations of scandals to cover up other scandals.

...and on and on. In 1993 and 1994, Clinton didn't think he had to answer to or even acknowledge anyone outside his sphere. Things were getting dangerous fast. Later on, he learned how to hide them.

Nope, " ... down the road to ..." is a bit incorrect. Why?

We are already there ... and have been for decades ... thanks to FDR and 40 +/- years of dim-0-cratic administrations.

Just consider the establishment and growth of "entitlement programs" for starters ...

I am not even sure where to begin.

The Islamofascists and their supporters would see that terrorism does work, the use of these methods to extort concessions from the civilized world would multiply many times over, and the people of Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and India would be profoundly demoralized in their desperate battle against Islamic conquest.

European elitists would redouble their campaign of vilification and hatred against Americans, probably becoming more open in their calls for violence and even genocide, and certainly in their demands for an end to American sovereignty. Mob violence against individual Americans would become commonplace as the Euro-bigot media recognize that there is no longer an incentive for restraint.

A totalitarian censorship regime would be rigidly applied on American campuses, with the last vestiges of academic freedom snuffed out by authoritarian speech codes and unrestrained left-wing intimidation.

Israel would be placed under irresistable pressure to make suicidal concessions to the barbarians, inciting them to increase their demands until Israel must either refuse American aid and risk its own destruction, or make further concessions and guarantee that destruction.

The authoritarian left would repay its crucial ally, Big Media, by using the full resources of the federal government to gain control of the internet and to harrass non-conformist media out of business. The satanic power of Big Media would be triumphant in American cultural life. Hollywood idiocy and the depraved pseudo-logic of sound- bite tv culture would completely drown out and subsume rational discourse.

The barbaric state religion of the Hollywood/Madison Avenue cultural axis, the so-called New Age, would grow by leaps and bounds, eventually suppressing Judeo-Christian tradition and the scientific Enlightenment alike.

Gun confiscation would become a national obsession, with millions of brain-washed media conformists serving as an all-pervasive network of snitches and informers. Home schooling, ecological heresy, and opposition to homosexual proselytizing would similarly fall victim to the combined power of the state and the media.

The result of all this would not be the end of the world, but civil war, with the leftist authorities relying on foreign voters and foreign intervention to preserve their power.

But...you failed to tell us what Kerry will do about all of these predicted disasters. After all, he claims to have "secret" plans for most everything. Perhaps Chirac and the Germans will help him. One thing is certain, he and the RATs will blame Bush for anything that does go wrong.

Not to panic anyone, but a Kerry Administration would more or less be The End Of The World As We Know It. '

And, a Kerry administration brought about by massive voter fraud would bring about some very exciting times. And considering what Kerry is, that is the only possible way that he could win. There simply aren't that many stupid people in this country.

If, in fact Kerry does manage to steal this election, He would have to put up with a GOP controlled Congress. So his first two years would be a quagmire. Nothing wrong with Congress being bottled up to do nothing.

The last two years if they managed to take control of the Congress:

The Republic will fall, at least what's left of it.

At this point in time, I would predict the beginnings of another Civil War.
