Hey, South Ponte Vedra here...down by Vilano. Am leaving to my sister's house in Southside tonight & staying there. Hope her dog doesn't chew up my cat.
Did you get that six pack I e-mailed you. You are going to need it.
Take care.
BTT. God bless all.
Just flew in from Ft. Lauderdale. We went to Key West for a couple of days and drove back to Ft. Lauderdale yesterday. We were suppose to fly out at 5:00 p.m. this afternoon for VA but we moved up our flight to 8:10 a.m.
I'm glad we did because I hear the FLL airport is now closed and we wouldn't have been able to get out. I guess we would have spent the night in a hurricane shelter.
I couldn't tell which was yours, I'm ready! Thanks! ;_)~
have a home in south GEORGIA if any freeper family needs a place to stay
I hope that you stay safe.
Well, all the patio furniture is back on the lanai & the lanai has 3 large tarps nailed around it & I hope they stay put. No wind here yet. Looks like the east coast is starting to get the winds & rain. Keep safe.
Looks like it is still moving west.
It looks like Jeanne's eye is making a beeline straight towards Rush Limbaugh's Palm Beach home!

Interesting. I just posted to the Limbaugh thread inquiring when he was coming back to Florida.
I am in Boca and just went outside. It is definately picking up here.
I am proud of Jeb during this Hurricane season. He has really risen to the challange.

My doomsday sceanrio for the East Coast of Fla, however, is something I saw in some models last night: the ridge to the north doesn't break down and the thing steams in due west, then goes to Tampa and out into the Gulf. That being said, all the current forecasts seem to agree: Ft. Pierce to Vero.
Very overcast here in Central Florida north of Orlando. Its been that way all day. Now its drizzling ever so slightly and the breeze is picking up.
I need to do all the laundry before the electricity goes out! We were without electricity for a week with Frances. Thats a long time to go without doing laundry when you have little kids.
This is the Ft. Lauderdale radar loop.
