Christie and James Osborne need to be chained up in a 6x6 cell and starved for about 25 years. A bullet in the head is too good for them.

What is it with these people? How can the father be that afraid of the mother? I'm sure they'll plead "not guilty" when they get their day in court. I don't care how bad a kid could be. There are other ways of finding solutions to parenting difficulties. This is just disgusting!

Man, if you hate your kid that much, relinquish your parental rights and give the kid up for adoption.

This is poorly written article.
"The couple also has three other biological children ages eight, six, and five. They were all reportedly well fed and well-kept."
Is the child that was abused an adoptee? There are so many questions that this article haphazardly avoids.

How is this possible? Wasn't anyone wondering why this kid wasn't in school? What about neighbors? I disagree with the whole "It takes a village..." crap, but when it comes to watching out for the physical safety of the next generation, neighbors and family should step up.

And describing a child as "well-kept"? Lawns are well-kept, not children.

Actually, it is very common for child abuse to be limited to one child in a family - the scapegoat, if you will. Ugh.

I DO NOT understand these people. It's just baffling. Hang 'em high.

Det. Massey said, "The father told us he'd leave for work in the morning with the child chained to the bed. He'd get home, [he'd] still be chained to the bed. He'd come home, unchain him, [let him] use the bathroom and tell him 'Go back and chain yourself up before Mom finds out I let you go.'" Both "parents" appear to be complete looney tunes. The father less so, but he had the greater responsibility as a result to stop this and failed to do so. They'll probably never serve a day in jail and end up in rubber rooms (hopefully in separate states and after both have been sterilized). I'm offended that I have to share the same oxygen they breathe.
