What an absurd and arrogant piece of dreck. If consumers of news don't get their news thru leftwing, but "balanced" sources, Ms. Saunders will not approve.
And she claims to be a Bush supporter but reinforces the lie that FOX News is not "vetted" news. If she doesn't know better, she has no business writing for a living.

Sorry - - no sale, Debra.
If you want to be taken seriously and have a future, get away from that liberal newspaper. Run, don't walk.
I will contiune to get my news from credible news sources.
Free Republic is as good as it gets in that department.

Her premise that anyone is 'proud' to only find news from a single source is a straw-man. FreeRepublic posts news from sources around the world, left, right, foreign and domestic. Further, I don't believe anyone on here is advocating that we limit our discussion to only right-wing publications ... we may not have as much tolerance for some of the twaddle that passes for 'journalism' from the more left-wing sources, but we still read them, dissect them, and comment on them. I suspect too that we are readily able to admit when a particular source is showing a right-wing bias (although those are hard to find, especially in the 'mainstream press' arena.)

I agree. I find myself more informed from my time on FR. I am reading news that I never would have had access to from any other source.

"Has absolutely nothing to do with not liking it, it has to do with not believing it. I don't read the National Enquirer and I am fairly certain I am not missing out on anything, either."
Exactly. That is the point she is missing. It has nothing to do with "ignoring news we don't like" it is about believing the news we do read. It is about honesty and credibility!
