My opinion for what it's worth.

I agree and disagree with you:

It didn't occur to him because of amoral arrogance and his agenda. IOW he thought he was still the choke point and we were just the ignorant chattel he believed us to be.

He got away with it for so many years because there was no way to fight back. The old media was the choke point for all information disseminated to the public. Then came talk radio but still was just a pimple compared to the big three then came the Internet and sites like WND Drudge, News Max, and Sierra Times etc. Then came sites with all kinds of information and research available that used to take painstaking time and effort to find and gather and now can be accessed within minutes and even seconds. And of course the BBS's and Blog's.

Hence Humpty Dumpty fell in his arrogance. Blather deserves what he gets for his arrogance and his leftist agenda he foisted on the American people for so many years. As the old saying goes. "What goes around comes around"

It's not like this revelation is the 1st time Dan has done something like this. It's just that this time he hit the crescendo of his manipulations and he refused to let go. Dan was exposed years ago to most of us here, it just took him awhile to start the coffee grinder and wake everybody else up.

Of course there are still some people that are very groggy after waking up and still refuse to believe the reality of the situation. Which is CBS attempted to manipulate the results of an election with forged documents. These people may be referred to as sleep walkers although they sometimes go by the nicknames, "liberal" or "progressive".
