The pictures are gut-wrenching. Hard to believe anyone would try to imply those children were unloved and that their own would do that to them.

Don't get me wrong, I truly do feel for all those children and their families. But I am of the firm opinion that the KGB/FSB had something to do with their murders. As I said, read Golitsyn above and/or Terrorists in Muslim Disguise and/or We Are The Next Target (links posted above) and you will know what I'm talking about.

That's "are not", not "were not." That's what I was basing my comments on.

"school seizure by Chechen separatists in southern Russia ended with the deaths of at least 329 hostages, including many children. During Lavrov's visit, Israel repeatedly offered help and pushed for a global anti-terror alliance, but Lavrov was cool to the Israeli advances, at least in public."

I hope the Israelis aren't falling for the Russian/Soviet provocation. Little does Israel know (or do they?), that one of Sergey Lavrov's top missions is to dupe Israel into believing that they can partner with Russia/Soviets in the "War on Terror." Little do the Israelis know that Russia/Soviets seek their utter and total distruction. Like I said, read "We Are The Next Target" link above. It will open your eyes to what the Soviets are really up to.

I was wondering why those Like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria Lebanon Libya. I mean some of them have been around for thousands of years even before the soviets yet the majority of their people live in poverty and have lived in poverty for hundreds of years.

BTW Turkey I believe is a democratic government. They have a secular government. As far as practicing "traditional" Islam it depends on who you ask. The Saudis tell you they practice true Islam and Syria and Iran and those in the West Bank and Yemen and the Tali-ban ,etc. all tell you they practice true Islam.

I have always wondered why these nations like Egypt etc have been around for thousands of years their people still live in poverty and the state of Israel has been in existence since 1948 and have become such a vibrant economic and military power in the same region. Any thoughts?

Well lookie here. Buddies and friends. Imagine that.

"Chechen rebel leaders Shamil Basayev (L) and Aslan Maskhadov. Russia warned it could launch preemptive strikes on terror bases anywhere in the world and put a bounty on two top Chechen rebels after the broadcast of a chilling video of the school hostage siege."
