LOL!
However, I believe anyone legit should be on the ballot, as I really do believe in free speech.
And Nader may be a commie nut case, but he is a legitimate one.

Good. Hopefully we won't need him though. Why Bush isn't up by 20 right now is a mystery (well, actually it isn't).

Answer: Vernon Jordan fell for Baker's trickery and agreed to let sKerry take questions from the audience in a town hall format.

This sucks. Nader is only going to syphon votes away from Bush, like last time.

I'm not sure that nader will increase turnout enough to influence a statewide senateorial election . . . do you really think so? I could almost see a congressional seat, if it included someplace like madison, but statewide?

Not sure about your state, but Nader will take Kerry's vote in mine (Va).

but statewide?
Yes. In 1998, Mark Neumann challenged Feingold and lost, 50.5% to 48.7%. Madison swung the election in the state because everyone came out to vote for Tammy Baldwin for Congress.

Exactly, but is the GOP Senate candidate a conservative?
Isn't there a saying that for every action (Nader on ballot), there is an equal and opposite reaction (Feingold gets additional Nader votes)?

Madison swung the election in the state because everyone came out to vote for Tammy Baldwin for Congress. heck. thanks for the info. I didn't think that a third party presidential choice could do much down ballot damage statewide, but I guess I'm wrong. feingold's challenger had better get his act together, then.

I was kinda joking. One thing that drives me nuts is when people say a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush. Or that Nader cost Gore the election.
These people fail to comprehend that there are people out there who may have a strong dislike for the major party candidates and feel more comfortable voting for folks like Nader, Perot etc.
