BTW Blue Mussels eat plankton --- just like many whales. Nothern waters (i.e. cold) including under the Artic Ice are very rich in plankton.

I also want to hear THEM, not others, explain:
What caused that Viking-times warming, and why this warming period is not from the same cause(s)?
And, what ended that warming?
And what about warming periods prior to that?
And, if man & industry is so much to blame, why was there cooling in the 1800s?

Should keep them busy writing grant-aps until retirement age.
