LOL. Now he knows how conservatives have felt for decades.
Cleland is a disgrace to his own tribe...
They sure have their fall-guy story sown up tight...Burkette's falling like a champ. However, this sticky turd will touch the DNC and CBS (60 minutes) real good, leaving more stinky stains...
He said he overheard a conversation in 1997 between then-Gov. Bush's chief of staff, Joe Allbaugh, and then-Adjutant Gen. Daniel James of the Texas Air National Guard in which the two men spoke of getting rid of any military records that would "embarrass the governor."
Burkett said he saw documents from Bush's file discarded in a trash can a few days later at Camp Mabry in Austin. Burkett described them as performance and pay documents. Allbaugh and James denied the allegations.
Burkett putting together another overly obvious lie. Anyone who knows anything about the military would know that records of any type are not going to be kept at the unit for more than 20 years after the service person has left. Everything is archived in St. Louis. The service member (or a family member holding the death certificate) may request copies of various parts of the service record, but no one except the archivists in St. Louis has access to the originals.
I would guess that Burkett's now solidified support for Democrats is a natural consequence of the fact that he cannot tell the truth. Only liberal leftists believe that it is acceptable and desirable to invent lies about their opponents, if they believe they can thus influence people to think the "correct" way about those opponents.
We are winning ~ the bad guys are losing ~ trolls, Dan Rather, terrorists, democrats and the mainstream media are sad ~ very sad!
