well Benedict Arnold did prove his valor and was highly admired by Washington. Four months in Nam with some questionable medals is not as inspiring as Arnold's achievements. However the treason is similar...the shoe fits.
Besides Benedict Arnold, other genuine military heroes were Tim Mcveigh and Adolf Hitler.
Then, because he didn't get what he felt he deserved from Congress, he chose to turn traitor to the entire cause and sought to sell out the significant fortifications at West Point in an effort to give the British such an unassailable advantage as to have them win the war. Luckily, his treasonous design was found out and foiled.
Because it was such an unbelievable turn...his name will (and should) forever be synonymous with traitor and treason...the only worse one I can think of is Judas.
Now, Kerry was not a hero like this at all IMHO...but he did come home from fighting and turn traitor to the cause and in that way became similar to Arnold.

The only problem is that a very large % of the elite lunatic left of Kerry's age plus or minus 10 years, hates America and our military as much as Kerry does.
If Kerry admits to being a traitor or is finally nailed as the traitor he was. That will be the beginning of the end of the elite lunatic lefties in control of the DNC. ABCNNBC BS, most of the newspapers in America, 99% of the professors and deans at our colleges/universities and a very large % of our clergy hate America as much as Kerry does.
So, if he takes the fall for his treason, he will take millions of elite lunatic rats with him. They will do anything to prevent that from happening.

Actually, we have been in CW2 since the lunatic left defeated our military in Nam and turned our vets in icons of hate.
Most people never realized that WWIII was with the USSR, Red China and their various agent countries. Like most people don't realize that we are in WWIV with the Islamofascists.
We win or lost this CW by keeping the rats out of power at the National to the local levels, maiming their pr weapon, the MSM and sending their elites to jail for crimes they have committed and got by with since the late 1960's/70's.
Most of them are cowards. So they fight this Civil War with lies/mantras with their left wing MSM, bad laws from their politicians, high taxes on the the producers, and bad judges who make law instead of interperting it.
Keep them out of power and destroy the credibility of the MSM, and we will win CWII that started during the Nam Years. Of course our second amendment rights will help us to keep them out of power and to disable their Weapon of MASS Disruption, the MSM. Not by firing a single bullet, but protecting our first amendment rights and voting rights.

I'm beginning to believe there are a lot more people in this nation, besides the ones here, who want the same things but since the voices are ignored by the media and congress and the silent majority "never" comes out to show their feelings - the truth will remain hidden. I'm still trying to get over the fact that the Senate let us down - as I believe the Senate did just the reverse of what the people wanted - and that was to throw Clinton out! In other words, I wish there was a way to actually show our numbers - I'd be willing to bet the total is a lot higher than we are led to believe.
