Is that 27 tornadoes in DC?
Nothing, but very dark here in Alexandria.
I live on the 8th floor of a 16 sory condominium. What am I supposed to do?
My brother and SIL live in Centreville, near Dulles. I had called them a little while ago and didn't get an answer. Strange, I thought. Hope they are okay.
...MULTIPLE TORNADOES ON THE GROUND...
AS OF 6:30 PM...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IS TRACKING TORNADOES THAT ARE ON THE GROUND NEAR STERLING VIRGINIA...SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON COUNTY MARYLAND...AND WESTERN KING GEORGE COUNTY VIRGINIA.
REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8:00 PM FOR THE ENTIRE AREA.
27 tornadoes reported ? OMG .... that's practically biblical
Hello,
Prayers to all in the area,
Glad to be here, MOgirl
We had students on busses going home...had to find shelter where they could...not a good scenario at all. Very scary. We had some come to our school to shelter while it passed although they don't go to our school. Thankfully, all our busses have radios and were warned immediately.
Actually, Field Marshall Clinton signed the Kyoto Treaty. Heir Field Marshall Clinton never sent it to the US Senate because it would have been DOA. Heir Clinton said, "We will abide by the terms of the Kyoto agreement."
Sooo.....
what you might have said was . . .
"Si Presidente de bush de Eeuu no había abrogado el Kyoto Agreeement (sólo después que la aprobación del Senado es un tratado), esto nunca habría sucedido."
roughly translated . . . (trying to get the hispanic vote here)
If President Bush had not abrogated the Kyoto Agreeement (only after Senate approval is it a treaty), this would never have happened.
LARGE TORNADO HIT REMINGTON VIRGINIA
MAJOR DAMAGE
On Weather channel right now.
We are watching local news - activity's west of DC metro area, in more rural areas.
This is the work of Ivan, I presume?
No Way ! This is the work of GEORGE BUSH !!!
< /sarcasm>
Get to the basement or a bottom floor away from the windows!!!
>> I can pray and be hilarious at the same time ... :)<<
Multi-tasking huh?
LOL!
Sincerely, God Bless all of those in harms way!
Looks a bit ominous on radar south of D.C. The Dahlgren tornado could hang together and hit east of Fairfax, maybe closer to the beltway.
My sister in Roanoke reported tornados around 2pm today. Took a roof off of an elementary school. luckly they had sent the kids home at noon.
Thats what I thought when I first read this, too.
