Wonderful! Evidence proves there's truth to the X-files motto: "The truth is out there!" And honesty seems illusive to mainstream media, especially CBS & its hero Blather.

So you're telling me I should leave work early, get in my pajamas, and commence proper FReep status?

Cool! Let me go tell my boss you said it was okay.

I think my boss is a lib... he might not appreciate the humor!

Fear not, I shall be pajama-clad all weekend. Rain is forecast (well, it is Seattle...) so I don't plan to leave the house.

What kind of Pajamas was everyome wearing? ; )

How come Naked FReepers don't get the credit they deserve?

I just know I'm gonna get suspended for this one.

Makes me so proud of y'all! I feel privileged to just be associated, albeit in an itty-bitty way!

Yes, that green face just might get you suspended...I can't stand the suspense...the girl could use some suspension; but not much...nature's done her justice.

A lib for a boss. I'd have a heck of a time under those conditions.

The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute To our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is By taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen.

Everybody here is very quiet about their political leanings. I've identified four other republicans on my floor, two of which have hit me up for extra bumper stickers.

Wait 'til they find out I just got an envelope full of "Don't be a Girly Man, Vote for Bush" stickers!

That's no freeper. A freeper would be red, white, and blue. Not rainbow!

Thank you Jim.

Just a few suggestions here because of 'The New Visibility' we have indeed gained for ourselves:

1) Now might be the time to update and run again that FR thread from several years back where all the various professions and backgrounds of Freepers are listed up; a voluntary exercise in which most of us participated. It should show the huge wave of new posters and lurkers precisely the varied expertise they are dealing with as a whole (Free Republic) when they see the qualifications of the individual parts (the Freepers, themselves). How could any US news organization match that, when you really think about it?

2) Now might be the time to ask Freepers to update their profiles, listing any professional backgrounds, specialties, interests or qualifications they might be comfortable putting up. And perhaps encouraging some of the consistently excellent and reputable contributors (I guess that means all of us) to also list a few things about themselves in "Profiles" if they have not done so yet.

I realize all of these are voluntary, but it would go a long way to explaining to those who have just stumbled across FR who we are and why we have such a rich selection of specialists at the 24/7 ready.

New Media BUMP!
