He should have tranquilized her, put a collar on her the driven her out into the woods and dumped her.

It is really time to move away from New Jersey.

It is really time to move away from New Jersey. I finally fled the Garden State, moved to PA in June. Best thing I ever did!

"These people came on my property," Priscilla Smith said. "They're like terrorists." Yet another citizen finally comes to appreciate the true nature of envirowhackos.

...who ended up locking herself inside a bear trap in the front yard of the elderly couple's cottage in Highland Lakes when their discussion about the area's black bears went bad.
This is why one should avoid even talking to left wing nutjobs whenever possible...

Is this a live trap, or something like that? What's the whacko's problem?
Never mind...I don't really want to know.

Once again we have clear evidence that the "animal rights" business is not about animals but about hatred of people.

That meeting that warm late summer day has lead to a series of legal charges being levied by the:
1. Smiths against Metler, by the
2. police against Metler, by
3. Metler against Priscilla Smith -- and most recently by
4. the state against Metler.
I would say metler may have a problem - does this mean their is some sanity in the govt in NJ?

When I trap critters in a live trap, I either shoot them at the base of the skull with bird-shot or suffocate them with auto exhaust. Drowing, of course, is another option, but the reservoir of water available might limit the size of the beast one could handle. Surely there must be a convenient middle ground in dealing with these varmints...

Leonard Smith told the activists to leave his property, and that was when Metler jumped into the trap and locked herself in, DiPirro said. Police arrived, removed her from the cage and charged her with obstruction.
Leave her in there, turn on the water sprinkler and turn off the hearing aid. If the woman is still there after about 4 hrs, call the cops.

I wouldn't be so sanguine.
It probably will wind up before little Debbie Poritz and the other half-baked political loons who sit on Chrissie Wgitman's State Supreme Court. You know - the nutjobs who let the Dems get away with the Torricelli bait and switch, and illegally let McGreevey violate the New Jersey State Constitution by floating bonds to balance the State Budget -
but just this one time!
