He stole the valor of the SEALS and disgraced himself after 30 years in uniform and the achievement of the highest enlisted rank in the Navy. Just pathetic.
Ping to 469.
What makes you believe that he spent 30 years in uniform? I'll bet he never made it past one hitch, and a trip to Subic Bay.
Nice work and thank you John.
Matt, you think AP will retract now?
or will they pull a "rather".
there is a certain sadness to it that so many do that as though their actual lives lack enough credibility for themselves.
really too bad.
I have been working in the military for over 20 years...there are not that many folks who "worked with SEALS" for 5 years. They are a fairly independent lot, unless you are from another SOF element (i.s Army SF, etc)--which this guy does not sound like he was, or he would have claimed he was one of them and not a SEAL. Again, another sticky fish caught!
Incredible how quickly these reporters--and their sources--are getting caught in their own lies these days.
Good job LeanWrite.
Great job, Travis on nailing this liar.
I have zero compassion for this liar. He lied about our president and lied about being a seal.
Now, he and AP need to deal with the real Seals, and they need to issue a retraction, an admission of the lie, and apologies to real Seals. Also, the public needs to know how this liar and AP got together. Who helped make the connection?
Last, but not least, to the execs of AP. Please continue to lie about our president, so we can continue to expose your pseudo NOTNEWS agency to the world. Keep up the lying, so while we defeat your boy Kerry, your buds at C BS and Blather, we can show the world what you really are.
Instead of a news agency, AP is just another lying media arm of the lunatic left rat pack which will do anything to defeat our president under the guise of news.
Bravo Zulu, Travis!
Great job, Travis McGee and LeanWrite!!
Another fraud perpetrated by the MSM busted!!
I posted this story on several "other forums"
I love the smell of burnt dims! LOL
I think they'll pretend the blogosphere doesn't exist. I forwarded the links with a note to G Gordon Liddy though, his son is a SEAL officer. Liddy may think it's worth hammering AP for their bias.
The "new media" (and FR in particular) is making it hard for liars to get away with their lies any more. Just ask Dan Rather!
Thanks! It's an honor.
John: Great job and a balanced report to boot. I agree that it will serve no purpose to pursue him further and hopefully others will agree with your conclusions. People should direct their frustrations at the AP for not having properly vetted their source.
I hope Liddy brings it up, there's a good chance he will.
And former noted VN SEAL Larry Bailey, of the "Viet Nam Veterans for Truth" will probably enjoy hitting AP as well.
I am with you----I am a WW2 U.S. Coast Guard CMoMM and damn proud of it---I do not have to make myself any more or less than I was for my 5 years (1/42-2/47) of service to my country--served at various ships and stations and just happened to be chief engineer on CG43(83464)Rescue Flotilla 1 at Juno Beach 6/6/44---our group is credited with saving the lives of 1438 men and 1 woman during that period of 6/44-11/44 and that is all the reward I need to haved lived a proud and satisfied life for my 82 years---don't need to brag or be any kind of military phoney--God Bless America and God Bless our Troops and Naval forces
Now the ball is in the court of Real Seals.
It is up to the Seals to act on this situation.
Just keep us posted.
Great job, Matt!
In a court of law, once someone has been exposed as being untruthful, it's puts everything else they say in question, and generally, their credibility is forever tainted and questionable.
