Muslims must look inward and put a stop to many of our religious leaders who spend most of their sermons teaching hatred, intolerance and violent jihad. We should not be afraid to admit that as Muslims we have a problem with violent extremism. We should not be afraid to admit that so many of our religious leaders belong behind bars and not behind a pulpit. This was featured on FoxNews last night and I did the search to find this today. How refreshing!

Apology not accepted. The Day of Retribution is coming!

Three years late and a few dollars short.
If this movement grows, I might reconsider my opinion of reclassifying "Islam" as a terrorist sect and trying to banish from America ... and the world. And this is from a libertarian who holds all articles in the Bill of Rights in high regard, including the First Amendment.

This is a good first step. And I have prayed to the Good Lord to help keep my heart from being hardened against others who, only until recently, were eerily quiet for the past three years when they should have condemned militant Islam only hours after the first plane struck the World Trade Center.
I fear that, in the hearts of many, this act of contrition may be too little too late.

A lone voice in the hell and horror that is Islam. Watch out for a big ol' f-a-t-w-a coming your way, soon.

ACTIONS, speak louder than words. 3 Years it takes for this lame announcement? No thanks. I don't trust muslims. They give me no reason TO trust them.

I guess up until now most muslims (mooselimbs????) felt they had to present some sort of united face against unbelievers. Perhaps someone finally got sick enough of that to take a stand... a very courageous one in light of the history of bin Ladin and his ilk... and the Iranian clerical death warrant against that writer who "profaned" the "prophet" is still in force, reward and all...

WHEN you read this you have to wonder are they really sorry, or do they fear a serous backlash.

Hardly. But it IS a good start. Perhaps some others will now take heart and help us FIND the ones we want... like Osama... and PROVE by actual DEEDS their repentance... (I shall NOT, however, hold my breath waiting...)

A bump.
Hope this group can get some face time on the tube. The Resources tab on their site looks interesting.

When Iraq is secure, I believe we will hear more apologies.
Retributions from the center of terrorism is fading.

"This is a good first step."This voice needs to become a roar among Muslims everywhere.
Anything less is increasingly looking like approval.
