As I said from the beginning, the IDEAL way to deal with these terror leaders would be to make them simply "disappear" Mafia-Style.
If we get enough inside people to cooperate, we could psychologically wear them down. No civilian casualties, dead soldiers or front-page "martyrs" for the inflammatory Arab Media. Sure, the "legacy" may live on, but it would get harder and harder for them to find someone to fill the just-emptied shoes of these fanatic losers.

Rashid appears to be a weasel. Pakistan Information Minister Sheikh Rashid has indicated that Al-Qaeda terror network kingpin Osama bin Laden may be dead... "If we had not started operation in Wana, the US would have done this and think what would have happened then," the minister asked... The minister hinted that the government was about to take very important decisions regarding water, ties with India and terrorism... most analysts believe there is a danger in laying too much emphasis on al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden alone when the reality of growing terrorism is more complex - and perhaps more dangerous.
...but not the "analysts" within the Demagogic Party. George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent

He probably met his 72 before the assault on Tora Bora. The Indian and Chinese press separately reported information that 2 of his guards had killed him and Omar and then died in the subsequent shootout. Each tape that has appeared since has been initially shown to be a fake (or one shot before the war) by our own government experts who have then shut up about it and subsequently spoken as if the tapes were real without actually saying that they are real. The press are the ones who have claimed government authentification and the government does not deny it-doesnt say anything.

The initial take on the tape was that it was of too poor a quality to authenticate. After that the government left it up to the press to make of it what they would. And they did. Bin laden alive sells more product for a far longer time than OBL dead. It is good for the Nertwork News.

you can't help wondering if Pakistan has bin Laden's corpse in a cooler Maybe in several very small zip-locs.

Osama is on the wrong side of the lawn. He is taking a dirt nap. He has ceased to be. In other words, he's dead Jim.He's slab surfing. He's doing the lawn limbo. He's worm food.

I didn't make the image. That shirt is already being marketed on a site called www.thoseshirts.com. Although it'd be my pleasure to spike their sales a bit.
Have at it. Lots of other goodies there too:
Viva Reagan!

I'm convinced we got him Dec 2001. 40 Jdam's to a single coodinate in mountains indicates an important target.

A lot of people, most especially George Tenet, believed Saddam Hussein was dead until our soldiers found him in a rat hole. However, I do think it's odd that Zawahiri is doing the videos these days, while we haven't seen contemporary video of bin Laden since Tora Bora time. True, there have been some audio tapes purportedly from bin Laden. Although the voice was authenticated in some, even those tapes contained nothing to verify the dates they were made.
I personally find it hard to believe that bin Laden would not do a verifiably contemporary video if he were able to do so. That leads me to believe he's incapacitated in some way.
Unfortunately, if he is dead, it's highly unlikely we'll ever find his body.

They are showing this high quality video of OBLs 2nd in command, but nothing of OBL in a really long time. He's been room temperature for quite a while. I'm waiting for AQ to get a picture of OBL and do the Clutch Cargo "talking lips" routine on him.
