Here's another vote!
roger that
I'd also nominate TankerKC for post #107 on this thread which proceeded Bankhead.

I sent notes to Jim Rob late last night nominating them for the Hall of Fame but I guess there isn't one.

Yeah! Buckethead, oh...buckhead, yeah he's cool too!
Way to go buckhead, ya done us proud!
As the mysterious Mr. Buckhead is my flesh and blood little brother, I second that emotion. He is a great American.
Hope he gets an invite to the White House after the election.
Nominated, voted for, and crowned, FREEPER OF THE YEAR!
AYE!
Another awesome FReeper!!!
Amen to that!

So sorry, hit the report abuse button instead of the reply button.
Count my vote as AYE!
Add me to the list of worshipers. The unfolding of the drama Wednesday night was like a revelation, a beatitude if you will...
Hey! Keep it down in here!!
There was no way in the world these memos were going to last more than a few hours because they were too obviously fake to too many people. If I had never been here this still would have happened in the same time frame and on FreeRepublic before any other place. The New Media Rocks and the Old Media is dumber than a sack of hammers. This victory, and I think at this point it's fair to call it that, truly has a thousand, if not a hundred thousand fathers.
Instead of Freeper of the Year, FR collectively should be the Blog of the Century because no one individual did it. It was the swarm that did it, and it is the nature of this beast to do so.
Regards to all.
Let's remember their were many people involved in this effort. Buckhead raised the alarm at 8:59 but TankerKC mentioned it at 8:19. Various FR researchers carried the ball over the goal line.
That aside, let's remember there are FReepers who work year round on projects. Jim has already nominated Scott Swett, aka Interesting Times, who has authored the www.wintersoldier.com site and has been working with the Swifties from the beginning (along with other members of the Free Republic Network).
Please keep this in mind when considering worthy candidates.
