In the interest of effectiveness, I think it would be a good idea for all of us to not overplay our hand; in this case, to appear reasonable.
Specifically, I mean to specifically state something like: ...until I personally have received your assurance that you have CEASED advertising on 60II, I will shop at OSH/(your local chain) instead, THOUGH THEIR SELECTION IS NOT AS GOOD, AND IN FACT THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE LESS TRAINED, (emphasis for you, not them).
See what I mean? Anyone who has worked with the public knows that there will ALWAYS be a segment who will whine no matter *what* you do-- we should distance ourselves from that portion. Just a thought.
