I don't listen to Rush religiously, but I happened to catch that call and the immediate aftermath and thought of how that segment was proof, again, of how the guy is just head and shoulders above the rest.
I mean, that caller was aggressive and persistent, especially when Rush admitted to not having seen Farenheit. I imagine a Hannity or an O'Reilly woulda just talked over the guy, cut him off right from the get go, and gotten all curt and personal.
Rush backed off a bit, and did a masterful and instantaneous rendering of why he felt the way he felt about Moore.
Impressive.
Bump for later reference! Moore lies!
This stuff is usually in the members area... so make sure you check it out now.
GRACIAS!
Mike is correct, Rush did ultimately change his policy on liberal/socialist callers. It's on his web site w/transcript.
However, Rush did not say that he was changing the policy during the caller from Peru, Illinois segment: only that he was considering changing the policy. That transcript is also on the Rush 24/7 web site. That's what I was basing my comment on and did not know that he later made a complete policy change. Mike had the full story, whereas I was ignorant of the later change.
