He lost New Mexico in 2000. I should've elaborated. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And you're right. Only November 2nd matters, but that's what I was referring to. The last election.

Now, where's POA2, to tell us how worrisome this news is...? I still say that the unanimous electoral college vote is unlikely.

Nobody is going to be rushing to the polls to vote for the self described "war hero".
People just don't like him.
And they like him less the more they see of him.
Throw the maniac he's married into the equation and the very concept of a Kerry administartion quickly becomes preposterous.

Democrats live and die by poll numbers. Ohio is significant because of all the time Kerry has spent there - the more they see him, the worse he does.

That means Bush can concentrate more money on the real iffy states such as Pennsylvania, Florida, and hotly contested midwestern states such as Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The Kerry people are doing the electoral math and they know a number of battleground states are beginning to favor Bush. That explains the desperate Democratic sleaze tactics. They're becoming unhinged.

Well, if you listen to the media. He's already committed murder on 1,000 soldiers in HIS war. It's just ridiculous. So, the dragging death tends to pale in comparison. And that was beyond the pale. Seems as though that Democrats forget how tactless they are when it comes to campaigning. But let a Republican say something and we just can't have this! ;-)
I haven't seen you for a while. Have you been all right?

I think a lot of good conservatives have left the great state of PA. I was a Vet from PA and have settled in the great state of FL. Either way I'll help swing the vote for Bush.
Vote early - vote often...oops that's Kerry's mantra.
Just Vote!

Kerry had better take off for France for the next 7 weeks if he wants to win this one.

Whalen is saying that the race will tighten up in the next few weeks, right before the presidential debates, which will be decisive in deciding who ultimately wins this election.
Eddie Hays-yellow dog Democrat-is plugging Hillary Clinton.
Nothing explosive, here.

Sorry! I was trying to be lighthearted and not to flame.
While I find it extremely encouraging to hear that President Bush seems to be pulling ahead in many of the states polls and Kerry seems to be sinking, I obviously believe the only real test is the election.

Let's hope they don't. They might narrow a little, but I hope it stays the same so I can watch CNN or MSNBC on election night to see their faces as state after state comes in for Bush. Oh, the pleasure I'll derive as I see their despair after they've spent their wad and he still wins. That will be a kodak moment.

Thank you. I'm about to get out of Washington and move to Nevada in three weeks. Time to go to a much more conservative state.

I didn't think you were flaming, but I'm a sensitive conservative. :) Not!
I agree. The election returns will be the real test. On election night, if it looks good, watch CNN or MSNBC so that you can see the horror in their eyes as they announce state after state to Bush. The pain in their faces will bring sheer joy and delight to you. I can assure you.
