The only countries where Bush was preferred [...] were the Philippines, Nigeria and Poland.India and Thailand were divided.
Philippines, Nigeria, Poland, India and Thailand.
That doesn't make much sense.
Or does it? The Philippines, Nigeria and India are wrapped up in their own battle against Islamo-fascism.
Poland is a part of the coalition in Iraq.
But what's the deal with Thailand?

"But what's the deal with Thailand?"
It's part of the Pacific Rim defense if China goes nuts, for one. And it gathers intelligence for us when the Islamics in other countries pester it for alliances.
Some Islamics, believe it or not, are different from other Islamists. For example, when the Chechens, who are "less religious" than other Islamic communities, swear by Allah. The other Islamists see that as blasphemy. They also differ in other ways. They've really gone through quite a transformation since the early '90s, before the other Islamic states took any interest in them. For example, the Chechens only started wearing bombs for suicide attacks of that kind after the Theatre attack in 2002. ...only after other Islmists started taking an interest in them, and only after the Chechens started getting really desperate.
I haven't looked at the Islamist percentage for Thailand, BTW. It can be found by running a google.com search with the kewords,
