I know .. I almost "hate" going to that website because, every time I do, whether I read the one about the dogs or the cats, I start crying and, as I'm usually in my office when I do so, it tends to attract attention.

Dighton, a dear friend of mine here at FR, guided me to that website after my "brought-in-from-the-cold-stray" cat, Oma, died of an intestinal cancer about two years ago, shortly after 9-11. Although we have since adopted another stray (a 6-oz 10-day old kitten abandoned by its mother on our front patio), I still get somewhat emotional when thinking about Oma.
