And most people will buy into his sham, either because it helps them in some way ($, politics, etc.) or because they are...stupid. In fact,
we are probably 'mean-spirited' for just bringing up those (sarcasm) archaic rules. Wanna bet they'll (whoever is in charge) will sweep those rules - or mention of them - under the rug. Or maybe some bigwig like Kerry himself will 'urge' the committee to bend the rules 'just this once'... I could go on, but it's late...

The deadline to submit the film for the documentary Oscar was last Wednesday. Why would that be? After all, the Oscars cover the entire year's films, so it seems bizarre that there would be a September deadline on this. It sounds like another Michael Moore lie.

That sentence is misleading. He did not have dinner with a Republican. He had dinner with a pollster who often works for Republicans. The pollster could be as flaming as Moore.
