South Texas will be the last place on earth to have clean elections. When no one speaks English and they are all named the same, there is no way....

If I wanted , I could vote twice in any election ( Not legally of course, and I don`t by the way).

You see, I legally changed my name in 1996. I re-registered to vote , notifying the proper channels of my name change, and all was suppose to be taken care of. But, no.....

Every election, I still receive voter cards in the mail to this day with my previous name , along with the card with my legal name. I have made attempts in the past to have this resolved, but it never gets done. This is how this stuff happens. The people in charge are not doing their job!! My old name is still on the voting roll !

I simply gave up on trying to have it resolved. I did my part to correct the problem. But it ticks me off everytime one of these old cards with my previous name shows up in my mailbox.

I live in the county, as you know, so this problem is not just in the city.
