This is terrible but it's hard to see how things could have ended without bloodshed. You can't negotiate with terrorists so it's either take them out early or take them out late. Innocent people are going to die either way.

What if the teachers had been trained and armed? Clearly the bombs weren't all suicide-bombs. If the first 10 or 12 terrorist had been shot, would it have helped or hurt the situation?
