Nov. 1963, Orange County, California.
A high school classroom. System broadcasts that Pres. Kennedy shot and killed.
More than one teenager applauded.
Reports from people in the audience said they were booing but most of the TV reports you could hear cheering. I am guessing the planners were smart about it and made sure the crowd around the TV audio would be cheering which is what most people watching will hear.
I'm sure when ClinTOON is released from the hospital, he'll be sure to mention the story about Republicans booing him despite the fact it didn't happen. Aside from the mattress mambo thats all Clinton does is blame Republicans for everything.
But let me wish him well and a speedy recovery.
BTTT
Clinton can go to h*ll!
I won't say a prayer for his recovery. I'll pray for him to go into a coma.
I haven't read the whole thread, but I was THERE! And there wasn't ONE BOO! NOT ONE! I am so outraged at this report.
I ATTENDED that rally and there were NO BOOS.
AP is despicable for inserting what they WANT to be the truth into a story like this. I've sent them my thoughts. You can to at: info@ap.org
The crowd did not boo, they said "WHO?".
:-)
Gee whiz, didn't the democrats boo Trent Lott and other Republicans attending Wellstone's funeral?
Prayers for the former President.
Seems like they rewrote the article and took out any reference to boos. Seems the lying bastards were caught as the video shown on all the networks proved otherwise.
Check this video of Bush's speech out:

The AP article is pure libel against those who attended the rally.

Republicans, the vast majority of them, have the grace and decency to wish Clinton well in a matter of life and death.
Liberals, however, have no such attributes. When Cheney had heart troubles, we were treated to endless jokes about his health and even his death. Then there was the one about if Bush senior had a heart attack, the Secret Service had orders to shoot Quayle. Liberals snicker and put on that smirking grin, as if to say "Hey, we're progressives. Anything goes...we're allowed."
