Correct! The RATs will do anything, legal and otherwise, to win this election and we cannot believe polls, fail to be vigilant or be overly- optimistic. Get out the Pubbie vote!
To: rocky88
I just donated my third $250.00 donation to the Swifties, right before I read your response! You might say, "I am mad as ZELL, and I ain't takin' it any more"!

I have no use for Zogby no matter what his polls say. I will start to listen to Zogby about 10 days before the election. It is at that time that he shines and gets pretty damn close. Closer than others by a long shot on many things.

Who is that blond who reports from the floor of the convention for Fox? She always has a very negative interpretation and prsentation. Often Major Garrett seems to correct her wording. He is far more professional!...well, the blond certainly isn't Laurie Dhue - she's probably Martha McCallam (sp?)...Garrett's been doing a great job of staying on top of and driving the Swiftvets story - making amends for having worked at CNN for awhile, but then he did start out on Paul Weyrich's old but innovative NET conservative network.....

Several polls, I would guess. AKA the Daley maneuver. And the Dims are busy getting ready excavate whole graveyards of dearly departed loved ones, who always vote Dumbly.

Speaking of Dukakis, lurking over at DU today there was a thread about how Kerry is nearly mortaly wounded by the SwiftVets. Others were outraged that anyone would suggest such a thing.
A poster replied to them and the Kerry campaign, if you think the SwiftVets haven't hurt Kerry and all is fine you are living in "Dukakkis Political Fantasy Land."

Do we have any backup on this are is it still rumor?
I doubt Zogby would have Bush up so much
To: GOP
Just listened to Zog on the Larry Elder show. Said it was tied, but Bush still behind on questions like "does he deserve another term.
He is NOT up by 4-6 in Zog's poll.

They have a 527 that's spending 15 billion on voter out reach and get out the vote efforts. ""
Is this a typo? 15 BILLION? Should be 15 Million?
If it really is 15 Billion, then 527's are proving to be the loophole of all loopholes.
Who has contributed to a 527 that now can spend 15 Billion? BTW, 15 Billion will sure help the economy, won't it?
To: SkyPilot
Also, the article they were talking about was quoting unnamed Kerry campaign people about how it was a huge mistake for them to not respond quickly to the SwiftVets. One poster said the entire article is crap if the staffers are not named and he would only believe something said directly by Kerry or Edwards.
I wish I could post over there. I would have responded to him, "Well, if your waiting for Kerry your gonna have a long wait. He hasn't answered a reports question since Fox News Sunday on August 1st."
Further on that, give that some serious thought. The Presidential Nominee for one of the two major parties, has NOT spoken with reporters in over a month! A MONTH!
Seems they are taking Rush's advice, Kerry does better when he is not seen or heard.

I didnt hear that. Though I only have it on in the background.
As far as democrats jumping ship, you know its bad when the Senate leader for the Democrats is using President BUSH in his ads and not his parties nominee.
That one ad alone speaks volumes about the situation the Kerry campaign is in.

. He stated he was not going to answer any more questions on his medals etc, and will not allow attacks on his past record. Well, he hasn't had a sit down with a journalist/reporter in 31 days (Aug 1st Fox News Sunday was the last). Why should he start answering questions now?
