Gergen is highly pissed at Bush because Bush didn't hire him as an advisor, as so many previous presidents had.
And I just told him so, at:

I don't know about, but he is Sandy Berger's close friend...LOL Precisely. He even vouched for Berger, saying he would NEVER EVER do such a thing; it's all a big misunderstanding.

That'd be ONE SERIOUS KEGEL.
I've heard about stage shows that involved "cigarette smoking" in the Phillipines....

Maddox campaigned hard for Carter Not for President in 1976 he didn't. Maddox was the independent candidate running that year.
To: Leroy S. Mort
Last night on CNN, Gergen said that Zell was Maddox's protege.

"Gergen said Maddox was "a man of hate," and that Miller was "a man of hate" too."Are you sure he didn't mean to say Robert Byrd, rather than Miller??
To: Howlin
Last night on CNN, Gergen said that Zell was Maddox's protege. Zell was executive secretary to Maddox while he was governor. My point was to correct the following 1) Maddox was not a segregationist while governor, he was a populist. 2)The Georgia Lt Governor does not "serve under" the Governor. He's elected independently and may even be from a different party (as now).
To: Leroy S. Mort
Zell is even more evil than the worst racist.Zell is responsible for Carville. He let Carville run his campaign for Gov.He then introduced Carvel and Clinton. If he had not done that Carvel would be living in a trailer park in Baton Rouge,Clinton would be chasing state secretaries around the office in Little Rock and Mary Matlin would still be a virgin.

William Fulbright was Bill Clinton's mentor, and Fulbright was a Segregationist. When Clinton was president, he presented Fulbright with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and spoke highly of him.

When it comes to consorting with racists, I guess it depends on which side of the aisle you come from.

You're confusing Kleagle with Kegel.
And I'm CERTAINLY not going to explain the difference between the two HERE.
And since you know the difference, I guess I should ask you to marry me.

Thank you.
I love your tagline, as I have long described myself as a small-l libertarian with strong constitutionalist tendencies.
I'm highly flattered by your demi-proposal, but I've been married so long that I can hardly remember being single.
And as far as Kegels and my wife, I won't discuss THAT here, either.
But while typing this post, I just realized that the two do have something in common:
They have both been known to exist beneath bedsheets.
