Finally, A politician that gets it. Thank you for being a True, Red White and Blue American! I want you to know that you have my vote if you ever run for President.
God bless you, Senator Miller. May you inspire honest Democrats to stand up and take back their party.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
Best regards,
Senator Miller,
I wanted to be sure to take the time to write you personally to thank you for your service to your Community, your State and your Country. As an Army Vet and one time resident of Augusta, I have known and loved your State and its people.
You represent the very best of them.
Your support of the President in this most critical of times is appreciated by all those who know the threats we are under.
Thank you again.

Thank you Senator Miller.
Thank you, Sen. Miller! Not just for what you said about Pres Bush, but even more for what you said about the Democratic Party.
We need at least two credible political parties to make our system work. As time goes on, it appears that the Democratic Party has crossed the line into "fringe" territory and just keeps on moving further left. At this rate, it won't be long before the Democratic Party falls completely apart and ceases to exist. If and when it reaches that point, the Republican Party will begin to mimic the PRI and the American political system will begin to mimic that of Mexico.
Someone of your stature needed to declare loudly that "the Emperor has no clothes". Hopefully, others in your Party will now be emboldened to step forward and challenge the narrow clique that currently controls it. We don't need everyone to become a Republican. Rather, this country needs a viable, strong, and credible Democratic Party to maintain our two-party system.
Thank you sir. Your message was well stated and well timed. God bless you.
I thought of our awesome soldiers on battlefields away from their loved ones while listening to your speech last night, and wished they could have all heard your passionate words. I remember after 9/11 being comforted by our leaders in the Senate and House of Representatives coming together as one voice. When I saw the cheap shots begin and then intensify I knew that it was the soldiers that would be hurt. Sure enough each mistake was magnified, the soldiers heard the country was beginning to turn against the war and then started hearing that the Iraq war was unnecessary. I read letters from and heard soldiers that believed their mission was honorable and their sacrifice worthwhile, so the battle between politicians at home only added to their hardship.
The terrorists and our enemies were encouraged by the rift beginning in the country and in my mind more soldiers were killed because of it. America is an awesome force when we all stand together with a united purpose and our soldiers should be able to expect that much from us when they are willing to give their life in service to this country.
Thank you for putting voice to the frustration so many of us have felt, but the cost to you personally is a heavy burden I am sure. I worry about the attacks on you that have already begun, but I know your faith and your family will help you get through the smear to come. I hope the heartfelt thanks of members of FreeRepublic.com helps a little for refusing to demonize a man you know is not evil for the sole purpose of political gain. From those of us that love the opportunities and freedoms the United States affords us and honors our armed forces and their sacrifice for us, we thank you sir.
Dear Senator Miller:
Thank you so much for your wonderful speech last night. You were the highlight of the Convention. You made me feel proud to be an American. I wish you and your family all of the best.
God bless you!
P.S. Thank you also for putting that awful Chris Matthews in his place (he was just as rude to Michelle Malkin 3 weeks earlier).
Smiling is for pansies, not Marines. Good job, Senator Miller. Go preach it to Reagan (Scoop Jackson) Democrats state by state.
Senator Miller: One of my family names is Miller. You made me even more proud of that the other night. It's about time someone took the Democratic party to the woodshed. You certainly were the right man for the job.
Thanks from Kentucky.
This is NOT your father's Democrat Party!
I get two inch groups at thirty-five yards with a factory issue 1911A...
I would have loved to see Miller as Sgt. of Arms at the RNC Convention, throwing Michael Moore out in the street on his fat ass...

Just my couple a cents.
Senator Miller, you are a true patriot! Your disgust for your Democrat Party is totally justified. We need a strong commander in chief who will stand up against the terrorists. Your case against John Kerry was so true and so well documented. Thank God you had the courage to speak out and let the nation know what a disaster Kerry would be as President. God bless you and your family!!
Thank you Senator Miller. I was so proud that someone from the democratic party decided to stand behind America and not just their own party.
It was a beautiful thing to do, and we all appreciate your support of our President very much.
Your speech was excellent and genuine. It is so rare that we see such a genuine speech in todays world of politics.
God bless you.
Thanks for this thread, kenth!
Senator Miller, thank you so much for your breathtaking, blunt speech at the convention! You told the truth and the American people need to hear the truth.
God bless you and your family!
Thank you so much Senator Miller!! I especially liked your picture with Gus and Woodrow...I was watching you sitting next to my black Lab! You spoke from the heart...finally, we had a speaker that spoke the truth and did not worry about what others might think! I applaud you and thank you for your wonderful service to the country.
The Honorable Zell Miller,
You make me proud to be an American.
God bless you.
P.S. Chrissy Matthews is a girly man
