If I may interject myself, out of context, into this discussion you're having with another Freeper...
Yes, everyone MUST hold the same opinion of the Bush twins' performance. I see the light now. The kind, logical, and thoughtful comments of my fellow FReepers have helped me understand. The twins were wonderful. Delightful. Perfectly aimed at the 18-25 crowd, not to old fuddy-duddies like you or me. They were funny. They connected. I now know that, because I didn't think they did a good job before, I am a bad parent. And an old, mirthless man. I am lower than dirt. Pond scum. Jenna and Barbara are perfect goddesses, dazzling and filled with rays of eternal beauty and wisdom. I can only aspire to walk in their shadow. And that, that is how you must feel, too...unless you wish to be banished from the fan club forever.
Price on Kerry was seen as an overlay.
Yes my brother - I too see the light.
Actually, according to my teenage daughter, the young voters think the Bush twins are the coolest.
We are now...the Stepford FReepers.
I much fear for the future, Fredrick.*
*Odd Couple reference that most won't appreciate, sorry.
The Joe LockHart hire is an excellent sign of how they see the campaign going.
Something's amiss here. Tradesports is trading normally and the current quotes for the IEM are showing the old 7.5% Bush lead. Kinda weird.
Exactly
Chart is hosed, I am telling everyone, read prior posts.
I hope it's just a technical error and not some DNC Tom-Foolery. Is that possible? Could someone artificially manipulate the numbers?
Im trying to see where he lost the lead at.I just pulled the #'s up for 130 central time and he is still ahead
The answer is Yes they can, question is did they?
Charts are easy to change.
I just looked at the price history on their website and it looks like somebody gamed the system with a surge of Kerry votes. The surge didn't last long enough for it to be an accurate reflection of market movement.
I doubt this has anything to do with the Bush twins' speech. It more likely reflects confidence by the Democrats in John Kerry's new Clintonista campaign team. They probably think Joe Lockhardt will do wonders for Kerry.
I'm sure you are right. This was profit taking. The figures are back where they were before. At 1.30 CST last quotes were
0.455 for Kerry 0.540 for Bush (average 0.469 to 0.544).
So no "twin effect".

PS I think the graph is only updated once every 24 h.
If you have to ask .. you're too old to care.
Well .. evidently on the day before, Grandma had given the girls a very hard time during her speech at the W is for Women meeting. I guess this was payback. However, I'm confident it was pre-approved. This family is very close and the girls would definitely never to anything to hurt their Grandma.
