That's because we have better speakers.
Exactly, Fox is a business and they program things they know people want to watch. There is a reason they are number 1 in ratings.
The cable news networks were horrible last night. I ended up watching CSpan thru the whole convention. Too many talking bobble heads chattering like chickens and too many commercials.
DUH! Guilliani's speech ran longer than anticipated. Should they have cut him off? This is just plain stupid. FNC aired all the major speeches at the DNC and they're going to air the major speeches at the RNC, regardless of how much time each individual speaker takes.
Consider the source. This is from David Brock's group.
It takes a lot of time to respond to flip-flops.
Okay fair enough. But what about all the rest of the media? Hmmm? How even and fair was their coverage?
Are such time-allotmnet conparisons done for the 3 major networks? How about positive vs. negative editorializing by their anchors?
Rudy went over.
These people are ludicrous. The major broadcast networks refused to carry the first night because they were literally afraid for the public to see McCain and Guilliani speak. These biased networks are trying to shape politics, not provide the service they should be providing. But...the "monitors' will miss this fact.
Fox should not be intimidated by these crybabies. I hope they will continue to broadcast these speeches in their entirety and not let the liberal monitors tell them what they can show us! This is STILL America. And it will continue to be America until the liberals in this country sell us out to the "Commies".
Best coverage by far!
Cspan-"we broadcast, you decide"
Fox covered Shrillary and Bill on night one of the DNC and McCain and Rudy on night one of the RNC.
These people need a hobby.
Me too...I turned on my TV and saw Chrissy Matthews and screamed, then hit the remote button and switched to CSpan. Scared hubby half to death, he came running into the room thinking I had fallen or something, LOL!
Dear US Newswire: Cry me a river.
*yawn*
Do ya'll hear something? I'm getting this buzzing in my ear.
Ok, someone correct me if I remember this wrong--but during the 'Rat convention, the "big three" networks devoted 2 hours per night to the 'Rat convention, for four nights. This convention gets 1 hour per night for three nights. Someone let me know if this isn't the way it happened--but if it is, should they be opening that particular door?
I noticed a big difference in spirit between the two conventions. The RATs were rather lame, no excitement. Even the balloon drop was a disaster. But last night, nothing but electricity in the air at Madison Square Garden. Amazing that none of the MSM have commented on it. Cover of the New Yorker today is funny, herd of terrified elephants coming over the bridge to Manhatten. More accurately, they should have been trumpeting wildly, stomping to victory. But we can't have that. No, we'll get nothing but spin for Kerry from the MSM until Nov. 3.
