No, FOX is no longer balanced. Today, Brit Hume even suggested that the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth had been discredited by unearthed military documents and the President's remarks. FOX is a joke. Good grief, look who they chose to replace Tony Snow on FNS - Mike Wallace's little boy, Chris.

But it's obvious that O'Reilly is doing what ever it takes to get the people on the left (e.g., Michael Moore, Bill & Hillary Clinton) on his show.

It's his show. He does what he wants, and measures his success by ratings. Plain and simple. His schtick includes antagonizing some viewers, which, not surprizingly, has them tune in to be further angered.

Anyway, Fox has, in my opinion, really done themselves a big disservice by way way way overdoing it on the Scott Peterson case.

My sense is that at any moment in time, there are a number of potentially "high profile" criminal cases underway. It's a never-ending source of programming, and the subject material is free. JUst the same, Jerry Springer had an audience, and if enough people tune in, then the network can make money selling ads.

That's just it, they don't report both sides. They continue to do a gradual leftward lean.

Fox News will begin, after the election, Running Simpson and South Park, back to back, on the weekends.

Finally!!!

I was particularly disappointed in BRIT HUME this morning, who usually slaps down the hyperactive and hysterical Juan Williams.

Yeah, I was really disappointed also. They let the "Bush smears Kerry via the SwiftVets" without mentioning the Kerry/Soros MoveOn ads. I was ACHING for either Hume or Krystal to bring up the "Bring It On!/Call Them Off" flip-flop of Kerry.

I'm watching less and less TV these days. If it wasn't for the History Channel . . .

If the fact that Maureen Dowd received such a favorable interview on FOX doesn't convince you that FOX has been assimilated by the Left, I don't know what would.

"I rarely watch TV any more, except for the Food Channel, History Channel, Discovery. We'll all live longer if we avoid the news networks and esp. during a political campaign of this nature. Fox is maybe trying to absord some of CNN's lost audience?"

My sentiments exactly. FR, radio and listening on the computer are so much Better and relaxing. No bull and no bias to worry about. I do not miss all the garbage on TV.

I gave up on National Review because I got sick and tired of their CNN ads on the back cover. Nothing makes sense any more!

Fox News is suppose to present both sides. So quit whining. They are still very fair and balanced. But part of being fair and balanced is expressing the liberal view also. FOX and Friends rule!!! I am a conservative, but the one thing conservatives are known for is turning on themselves if they don't agree 100 percent with anothers view. Liberals stand more united. May all the Black Christians, Union Christians, and Evangelicals unite before we have Kerry picking our next supreme court! Plus this is my next Commander in Chief.

I've started watching CNN again after 6 years of not watching. I'm talking about their news not their political shows. Today CNN had several GOP people on giving the case for Bush which Fox didn't do. I can hardly stand Fox anymore.

FOX went left because of the others press bitching they were too right and CNN has gone more right with everyone bitching they were too left wing.

Fox is getting turn on less, as is the televison, in our household too. I think they may be trying to garner a wider audience by seeming to shift left; however, whatever the reason, it's losing us. About all we watch anymore is John Gibson, Brit Hume and Neil Cavuto.

You just put your finger on something that I 'sensed' but hadn't actually brought front-and-center in my mind yet!

Drudge seems to want to create 'buzz' rather than just highlight breaking news and links to news...

Thanks for helping that jell for me and probably others.

Isn't the new president of Fox News a big democratic supporter?
