The fraternity pledge hazing remarks apply, and these islamoscum were imprisoned for cause, not because they were pledging to a club. Even with the stupid hazing tricks pulled on them, the islamoscum are getting better treatment than they deserve - they're dam*ned lucky they're not in a Saddam-run prison!!
You want torture, or abuse, or an atrocity, watch the islamoscum "beheading" Nick Berg while he screamed for nearly two minutes as the islamoscum hacked at his neck.
Unless I've missed something (and that's entirely possible), "zeroisanumber" seems to reflect a level of understanding of the world as it really is....
No, I don't think you're cruel or heartless.
And it's a scandal only because the media have made it so.
I am of the opinion they shouldn't have prisons over there to begin with. Just shoot them on site. I don't see there is any reason to coddle them at all. If they don't have enough sense to stay at home and out of the way. So be it!
I know. I know. We have to get information from them. But it still sounds like as good idea to me!
But I am tired of the p c sensitivity we have as a Nation.
And lawyers in the battlefield............give me a break!!! I hate this!
It is war! And war is terrible!
But I had rather THEY be killed than our nation's finest young soldiers!
God Bless them all!!!
What happened to Nick Berg was atrocious, and I am all for going out and getting the bastards who did it. However, invoking his death as a justification for using torture shames his memory. As a vet, you should know better than to make the damnfool statements that you just posted.
I am not invoking ANYTHING, let alone the butchering of Nick Berg, as "justification" for stupid hazing tricks. Do not twist my words. Nick Berg is an example of an atrocity (in direct contrast to hazing), and justification only for destroying islamoscum.
As for whether stupid abu graib hazing tricks were acceptable or not, my opinion (constitutionally permitted) is that if the interrogators were getting more information than otherwise, absolutely they were, because information saves lives (BTW, no lives were lost in abu graib due to these stupid hazing tricks). If it was merely for stupid "fun 'n' games", absolutely it was not!
As for whether or not I am or am not worthy of anything is not for you to say, not that it matters; as long as you continue to illustrate your lack of understanding of the real world, I could care less what you consider worthy!
Is it acceptable to sic dogs on prisoners? Is it acceptable to strip them naked and force them to perform sex acts on one another?
You are making too much of stupid hazing tricks which are NOT torture, atrocities or abuse, and which caused no deaths or medical problems to the islamoscum involved.
To repeat, if we got more information as a result of humiliating a few islamoscum, it was worth it because it saved lives (on both side, I might add!). If it was done for the amusement of a few misguided highschool kids, it was wrong.
NOT condoning the situation or its causes, with which I am familiar, but it all started because a little humiliation was going a long way regarding information gleened from interrogation. Clearly, it got out of hand. As an over-simplification, there was no adult leadership, and this is what happens in cases like this. High school hazing incidents here in the states are clear illustration of the principle.
I'm outta here. BT SK!
