The Democrats can whine and squeal about "dirty politics" all they want but it was the Democrats who first decided to "go back over 35 years" and spend the whole spring bleating about George Bush being "AWOL" from his Guard unit and being a "draft dodger", etc. until the whole fabricated "scandal" story eventually fell apart.

And now? The Democrats' hypocrisy is like a 50-foot plasma HDTV.
The shoe is on the other foot.... Turnabout is fair play. Etc.
Now it is time for the scumbag Democrats to ingest poop and expire.

GO, SWIFT BOAT VETS!!!
Go mercilessly and relentlessly until the mission is accomplished.

"Barnes Regrets Helping Bush Avoid Vietnam"

If you had to join up and wanted to choose a branch where you'd run the least risk being killed, the NAVY was where you enlisted. NOT the national guard and Not training as a pilot, where you could be killed not even leaving the states. (plus it meant special training which meant MORE time)

Okay. I missed FOX News Sunday and I do not have cable. I nearly always watch FOX News Sunday, however, and they are pretty darn even, imo. Be sure you are considering the big picture. That's all I am saying. But if they are guilty in this case then I suggest you write and complain. I am just not willing to make the bigger statement that they are going wobbly.

Flip over to CNN or even ABC, NBC, CBS, or PBS for an hour or so and you'll renew your appreciation for FOX News.

Fox will get worse as it gets closer to election day. In 2000 it was all Gore all the time. Their true colors will show. Most of their people are former CNN, ABC, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, LIBERAL DEMOCRATS, so what do you expect. I have no respect for Fox. They are only slightly less Left Wing than the other MSM.

Juan has always been the way he is. He's from NPR - what do you expect?
Fred is always great, as is Brit. Mort, while he leans left, is generally a rational voice of reason on thoughtfulness.

I do have my concerns about FNC. I am skeptical about them to the extent that they could use their clout they've gained with conservatives to do a sudden slime campaign against Bush at the last moment, as they did in 2000 with the Bush DUI dump. There are individuals on the network that I trust, but as a media organization, I don't trust them any more than I trust the others.

Geraldo was pretty disappointing last night. I caught that segment too.

Does anyone know where the thread was from last night where someone got a package from Moveon that is a Kerry info package?

I posted this on another thread this morning but it fits here also...

What I don't understand is how can the talking heads keep saying that the SBV's allegations have ALL been disproven? I understand why the MSM and Kerry's water carriers are saying it but this morning I heard Brit Hume say that Kerry's story is closer to the truth than the SBV's?! WHAT?! BRIT HUME!?

Their Cambodia allegation was proven correct - Kerry's campaign retracted his decades old story. Their 1st PH allegation was proven correct-Kerry's campaign now admits that is was self-inflicted. I just don't get it.

Of all the original FNC hosts that remain, only Cavuto and to a certain extent Gibson have the cajones to put the libs in the shitter where they belong.

Hannity (I don't know if he is actually an FNC "original") is not at all bashful about slamming the scumbags. Britt Hume, as the lead anchor, obviously needs to be careful. But most of Fox News' reporters are heads above what the DNC networks throw out there. Just compare Carl Cameron to Democrat mouthpiece John King as a glaring example. When an important story is there to be told and all the other networks are working overtime to spike it, Fox will, one way or the other, get the story out there.

Fox News is the voice of reason in a sea of media trash. FReepers on this thread who are bashing Fox News have their head up their butts. Without Fox News GWBush wouldn't be President today. Between conservative talkradio and fair and balanced Fox, the GOP gets their message out. the librats have ABCNNBCBS&msnbc to spout their leftwing message. Without Fox News the GOP would be in BIG trouble today.

I am not an expert since I do not have cable. I do read transcripts and news reports from FOX sometimes.

I've never felt O'Reilly spoke for conservatives. He certainly does not represent my views all the time. He's just refreshingly not always speaking for liberals either. On FOX you get a variety of views. That's what is so cool about it. Conservative voices are not left out, for a change. Nor are a variety of other views, like O'Reilly's, which are more of a left-right mix-up. Everyone's views should be heard and everyone's views should be challenged. Don't you think? FOX is trying to be fair and balanced.

I think one thing that may be influencing all this is sponsors. The rats either directly or indirectly(through ad agencies)control a lot of potential sponsors. If this is the case it may be influencing network content, I hate to think so but it could be.

That is not what he was saying last week. Are you sure he wasn't addressing just one narrow point? I would be shocked if his overall position has changed that much in one week. He may think Kerry wins one of the arguments about one of the medals or something. What were they talking about specifically when he said that?

Does anyone remember Paul Weyrick's Political NewsTalk Network? It was a conservative TV network on satellite, but only lasted a couple of years. Probably because it was one-sided.

They were talking about the effect that the SBVFT have had on the polls and that the story is not going to go away anytime soon, even though Kerry's story is closer to the truth than their's...(I'm paraphrasing)

He did follow that by saying something to the effect that it's still worked in Bush's favor.

Do they provide transcripts of Fox News Sunday? I want to get this right.

Brit Hume might have been referring to the fact that Kerry's story has the backing of the "official" government record. I'll catch FNS this afternoon and see for sure, but that's my guess.
