Try again

Leviticus? I don't subscribe to it, but its in there along with a whole lot of other things that God told Moses.

I don't think either are sins. I think homosexuality is gross, but that is because I am straight.

The prohibitions regarding homosexuality are present in the New Testament.

You are right, they are.

It also says in the New Testament (Matthew) - Jesus actually said it - that he came to fulfill the law, every dot of the law -which I assume includes Leviticus, etc...

Even the devil can quote scripture to make a point - I am not a Christian.

14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, [but] not to doubtful disputations.

14:2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

14:3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day [alike]. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth [it] unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard [it]. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

Romans

3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

3:22 Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

Who wrote that? Paul? A guy who never met Jesus and in fact persecuted the early Christians until he fell off his horse with some divine sighting?

You wanted to reference the Bible in post five; you throw out things which seem like the ramblings of some leftist sociology instructor.

Trayf.

Next silly and irrelevant question?

There is a point to this, but you merely want to be play both sides of the field.

PS-I see nothing in the New Testament that commands us to kill homosexuals.

But of course you merely wish to pick and choose passages that support your worldview.

The pop music industry sidles up to ethnic Caribbean and African acts as a way of slumming it with authentic minorities. Radical Chic.

It started with Harry Belafonte and Ricky Ricardo. Progressed through Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, Brazillian and West African artists. Problem: many of these dark-skin cultures are anti-gay, and this reality embarrasses the liberals.

Doh!

Obviously I am pretty dense, I just got the point of your post. Of course I believe in freedom of speech, I do not think the Bible is hate speech. It is just that I think that people who say 'kill the fags' are the same as people who say 'kill the Jews' or 'kill the blacks'.
