Ain't in nice to have been a part of history and to have taken part in all the events Bob describes?
I think so!
I've got my copy of this (not autographed) but just haven't had the time yet to read it

There ought to be a Freeper forum for book reviews. You aren't really making a vanity post. If you click on the picture, it will take you to Amazon.com's website to the webpage for this book.

It's your baby Jim.....You've watch it take it's first steps go through growth spurts; weather the problems of youth. As it matures and takes it's place in history, you must be very proud of FreeRepublics's accomplishments. Congratulations!

The March for Justice was awesome...( do you remember CigarMan?) I had a blast...IMHO it completely changed the politic dynamic in this country..for the FIRST time, conservatives realized that protesting could be fun, and moreover, that we were better at it than the Left..That these lessons were well learned were demonstrated 2 years later in Florida and DC, when according to Bill Salmon's book.."conservatives in pressed khakis and pearls forced the voting recount to be conducted in the open", and later..the incredible demonstration outside the Naval Observatory..."get out of Cheney's house!"..which drove Gore insane, and of course, the "Sore Loserman" sign..perhaps the greatest piece of political art since the Peace sign...
But, but, as much as my next door neighbor deserved to be convicted by the Senate, and the GOP senators took a pass..it was for the best, because had Clinton been forced to resign, Gore would have been elected easily in 2000, and the dems would have retaken the Senate as well..which only goes to prove..
1. There IS a God
2. HE really loves this country..
3. HE has a "wicked" sense of humor..
Regards, and bless you..

Congratulations, Jim and all Freepers, especially the D.C. Chapter. I'm still telling everyone I meet about FR. And although I don't post often, I still try to read everyday.
FreeRepublic IS THE BEST!
Thank you for creating it, maintaining it and letting us all share it.
