How credible is this Burkett guy?

Rock solid.

He wrote the book "Stolen Valor". It's an awesome book. In it, he debunks many of the urban legends and lies about Vietnam veterans. He also exposes a lot of frauds and Vietnam war pretenders. He's a great writer and totally credible.

He left his crew and hopped on a Coast Guard cutter and was taken to safety, so his life threatening bruise could be attended to.

Actually, he hopped onto one of the other Swifts to be chauferred(sp?) out to the cutter. You've always got to get prompt treatment for those life-threatening bruises.

America isn't ready for the Kerry Way either, and never will be - he is a pretty lousy Senator, just look at his senate record. Kerry is a playboy with lots of toys to play with leaving him little time to be a United States Senator - that he was ever elected is truly a blight against Massachusetts, a state where if history were still taught, the people should know how to tell a charlatan.
