LOL! You're funny, but I doubt your scenarios are far fetched. LOL!

I have to admit, I was stretching it a bit with Gore.

"Pat's belief in controlling ilegal immigration strikes a chord with millions in this country even if if he's no longer a political threat. "

To the extent that he continues to inflame malcontent racist and xenophobe losers in key states he is a nuisance that should be squashed like a roach. He gives people who can't hold a job someone else upon whom to blame their misfortunes.

Buchanan needs so much attention that he was willing to help elect Democrat presidents. He should shut up. It's OVER.

Buchanan calls the invasion of Iraq "the greatest strategic blunder in 40 years

Buchanan wanted to just sit back and do nothing while Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, and all the other Muslim radical counties continued to develop chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons.

I really can't stand people who call Iraq a mistake, yet had no clue as to how the US was supposed to stop the rising terror networks of the 1990s.

If the US had not gone after Iraq (which also took out Libya), then American-hating Arab Muslim counties would have considered the US to be weak and intimidated in the wake of 9/11.

President Bush did the absolute correct thing by taking out Iraq. Not only did it send a message, it gave us a strategic position next-door to Iran.

And of course we'll leave it to bayourod to do the squashing. You have 75%+ percent in Arizona alone who support Prop 200 so you better get busy, that's a lot of people for you to step on.

First off, Pat's not an anti-semite, like that rightwingnut Joe Sobran

I too used to defend Buchanan against those who accused him being anti-Jewish.

Then I heard him on TV about six months ago) spouting off about how Israel was to blame for the war in Iraq, and how the Jewish influence over President Bush was harmful and anti-patriotic, or whatever phrase he used.

I wish I could site you the time and date and show, but I can't.

All I can say was that I sat there with my mouth open, stunned that all those who accused Buchanan of being "opposed" to Jews were .... right. And I was wrong.

After that day, I will never see Buchanan in the same light.

Yes, I served on committees that picked Reagan's delegates to three national conventions. I worked with Lee Atwater and served on two Reagan state committees. Among the surrogates I hosted tours for was Michael Reagan.

I've also spent a number of hours one on one with GWB. There is no question at all that GWB is more conservative than Reagan. Buchanan misrepresented both Reagan and Bush during the 2000 primaries because he was trying to paint himself as the mirror image of Reagan and Bush as liberal as his father.

Reagan fired Buchanan. Buchanan was almost a complete opposite of Reagan.

I'm sure the Gipper had his reasons. Anyway Buchanan isn't the issue for me and I don't see him as being a threat to the GOP. As far as I'm concerned this writer David Kirkpatrick is suffering from mental delusions by pretending he is.

That's the problem with buchanan and hence one of the keywords so wisely assigned to this article.

buchanan knows that the left wing media is going to put him back in the spotlight to attack President Bush. It's not that the media believes pat any more then any intelligent person does, but he's a useful and willing tool.

Besides, I wish Reagan hadn't fired him. He should have made him Ambassador to Somalia...for life.

Pat will get fifteen minutes to promote his book like everyone else but by election it'll be largely forgotten. I do agree though, the left-wing media will use him to suit their purposes.

Ahhhh. That's it. Patsy hates the Jews. Attacking Iraq helped the Jews. Even though attacking Iraq also helped the Middle East in general, and also helped the USA, Patsy hates anything that helps the Jews. Got it.

And you know, he's right. It did help the Jews. Everyone is saying that the suicide bombings are down because the security fence is up. But the security fence is only 1/3 complete. I don't think it can account for the dramatic drop in suicide bombings that has occurred in the last year or so.

It's Iraq. Sadam was funding and encouraging the bombers. And now the bombers are far fewer.

So the Patsy is right. We did help the Jews.
