"The wind is blowing in this direction, so this is my position on that subject....today."He must stick that finger up like that at least half a dozen times a day to check which way the winds are blowing. Just about every day there's a photo of him with his arms spread out wide, or that finger stick in someone's face, or something equally as peculiar.

I noticed that about his wrist. Maybe I'm wrong, but it does look as though he's lost weight during this campaign, and he didn't have much to spare to begin with.

There are so many photos of Kerry sticking that boney finger up in the air or in someone's face, that I'm surprised someone didn't break it off long ago.

Is there anyone who knows about pitching who can tell me about that "claw" grip he throws with? Is he changing his grip based on past criticism on FR?

Notice how the photo is all about Kerry, and how he always seems to grimace as he tries to throw a ball. Maybe his throwing arm is the one that needed "surgery" that time when he disappeared off the campaign trail for a couple of weeks, only to show up with a newly Botoxed face.

Would love to see someone stick their finger up in his face or poke at his chest like he did with the Marine....

Can't answer questions about throwing grips, but while we're focusing on his claws, did you notice that the angle of the photo makes it look like Kerry's left hand is missing? Wonder if TeRAYza was particularly miffed at the time?! [snicker]

Looks like he's trying to throw a knuckleball, or maybe a perverted forkball. But there isn't that much follow-through on a knuckleball, making Kerry, again, a sports knucklehead.

Er, how about this ...
"I held back," Mr. Kerry told reporters early this morning, on the plane ride after the game. "He was very nervous. I tried to lob it gently."
