The trick is to not use ANY HTML tags at all when you're typing your reply. If you leave out all the < and > and P and all that, and just type it just like you would in MS Word, the link will come up active.
No paragraphs, nothing.
Just copy and paste the link and it works.
Just paste it from your browser. Keep life simple.

That's exactly what I did - I "copied" the link from my IE address line and "pasted" it in my reply. And it came out all black; not nice and red and underlined like everyone else's.

You put in the < P > (without the spaces).
Leave ALL formatting If you take out the < P > it wil be just like ours.
Type it just like you would a letter in email; then when you cut and paste the URL, it shows up RED; you should be able to see it in the PREVIEW box.

Yes, your friends are being dumb, but don't start thinking Democrats have an exclusive on dumb, and don't start thinking your friends are representative of all Democrats. They're just upset and lashing out - they will probably sober up and figure out that Jeb wasn't really trying to kill them.
The reporter's question that you report is actually a softball question. Even if the reporter had asked something completely unrelated, Jeb's reply would have been, "I'm really going to make sure people get help." That reporter just gave him a chance to say what he wanted to say anyway.
