The region I'm in is heavily democrat but maybe many aren't enthused enough about Kerry to vote at all -- it doesn't really seem there are Kerry bumper stickers and signs like they had all over the place for Gore. I know a Jewish man who used to be democrat who likes Bush.
not that will really go and vote
I know of one. She works at a college here in NC. She's an altruistic type who thinks that the tax cuts for the rich are unfair. I explained to her that I am not "rich" since I have to pay my children's tuition to her college; have a mortgage and car payments; and a wife who is also working. She does not understand the difference between an Income Statement and a Balance Sheet. Even Rush, can't work out an intelligent argument discerning the difference between earned income earners and "the rich," (as in what are your assets Babs Streisand, Mickey Moore, and a whole host of other hypocrites). IMOHO
Actually, I enjoy sharing with her what I know about the corrupt nature of the democRATic party and democRATs in general. She hates Kerry but hates GWB more. And she's a great maid who I've employed for about 14 years. I can't fire her for being dumb.
I know of at least 3
My sister (probably)
her nitwit friend
and her nitwit friends sister
Oh, let's see, my father in law, my sisters in law and their husbands (maybe they don't vote, I don't know), and probably my wife and daughter (she's not registered yet), although my wife can't stand Teraysa so there's hope. I was able to talk her into voting for Bush last time. Gets pretty chilly around here when the elections come up.
I'm proud to report my oldest son is in the Army and a staunch conservative.

My neighbor... she just became a U.S.citizen too...very Catholic...called Bush a Nazi on the Fourth of July -no less. She is a lost cause. Blames Bush for the war because her son (against her wishes) joined the Army and is in Special Forces.
I don't know of anyone in my immediate family. They're all voting for Bush because I've educated them with the knowledge I've gleaned here at FR.
" family affairs are not something I look forward to."
Gotta be hell for you. Good luck!
Two.
They fancy temselves as the last American Communists.
I try to tell them that they're not alone: as Democraps, they have lots of company.
CRICKY!!!
LOL!

Only one of my uncles. Everyone else in my family has more common sense. None of my friends are voting for Kerry, that I know of. Come to think of it, I just don't really know or associate with any liberals to speak of, which makes life pleasant. Even the uncle that's voting for Kerry is not really a "liberal," but he belongs to a Labor Union and they've convinced him that Bush is out to take his pension away from him or some such nonsense. But everyone else I know is voting the straight GOP ticket.
2--man and wife....she's a flaming liberal, and his testicles are in the lockbox.
none
It's different in WI, you don't have to register with a party to vote, you just vote. I like that.
