Hubby driving through Kentucky says all kinds of big trucks and equipment is on it's way to Florida. He saw long lines of them going through on the highway.
Help is coming.

Snyder you are a troll. Bye Bye
To: snyder
I can tell you have never been through a huricane. As someone who has been through one please think before you type.

Half way through Hardee County, going north to Polk County.
Very close to Ona, Oak Grove, Vandolal (sp?).

Anytime you get a regional map that shows "Alligator Creek" as the only named river ...
You know you've got to be in a wet country area!

We're praying for you and all Floridians. Let us hear from you when it passes. Best wishes.

Nope.
Been moving north (towards Polk County) for the past hour.
Now maybe 30 minutes from the county line.
Fort Green Springs next.

He saw long lines of them going through on the highway. I saw a whole convoy of tree-trimming trucks heading south down I-95 this afternoon. Practically the only traffic going south.
To: CindyDawg
Yes. Charley made landfall at 3:50 p.m. just southwest of Fort Myers around Sanibel Island. That is about 150 miles southeast of Tampa. It looks to travel NE through Orlando.
