Check out the AOL poll. And that's BEFORE the book is published. I smell panic in the Democratic camp.

Happy birthday!

We'll just have to wait and see what impact it has as the election plays out.
Personally, I think Kerry will be DOA by the end of September, and not just because of his "war hero" status getting blown to pieces.
I think he screwed up big time by defining his capaign by it, though I think current events will play in much more heavily. Successes in the War on Terrorism, the Iraq Survey Group report, the GOP convention, and elections in Afghanistan will play significant positive roles in the coming months.

He had nothing else to base his campaign on. No senate record worth talking about, no goldigging to be writing about, and now his soldiering is worthless. I hope you are right.

Exactly. If his political Kevlar vest disintegrates, he will have NOTHING left to say. Kerry already agrees with the President on Iraq and what he has left to run on is Vietnam and class warfare on the rich. If Vietnam's gone as an issue he'll be seen by most of the country as a stiffer and unlikeable version of Michael Dukakis. I can't wait til November!

Here you go, from yesterday. The writer states that it is Bush in November 57.7 % of the vote! A good article.

You're so vain.;-)

Happy Birthday, Christopher!!! Have a great day.

Good question. Kerry's 'follies' are being exposed and Kamp Kerry is in full panic mode. Their threats, protests and lamebrain excuses are giving the SBVs for Truth additional forums to explain their side of the story. It will be telling to see if enough people are paying attention. Here's hoping that they are.

Someone posted just this topic earlier, I think it was from NRO the corner, so try searching for that or there.

Hillary will never stand idly by and risk Kerry winning.

Rush said several months ago that the clinton's will submarine him, and you will never see their fingerprints on anything.

Doesn't Kerry's way of dealing with the book reek of the Clintonesque?

Happy Birthday Chris.

sKerry's running out of options. If, as counterpunch posits, sKerry is DOA at the end of September, we need to watch closely as the RATS may try some shenanigans to put someone else in his place (can you spell Hildabeaste?).

Although they might be desperate to do it, I don't think they'll get Hitlery to run. It'll be too late, IMO. Lurch will wither on the vine and die twisting in the wind (Although he won't be able to decide which way to twist.) The Hildebeast will be quite happy waiting until '08, after she finishes her run in the Senate.

But seriously, I have been Electoral College predictions, but I have not seen any that factor in Unfit for Command.

There won't be any impact. The story is being pretty much ignored by the mainstream media. Limbaugh and Hannity are preaching to the choir. Those who hated Kerry before will eat it up. Those who supported Kerry before will ignore it. The few undecided will probably make their decision on something else. Net effect, zero.

Good point. I think that Hitlery will run on 08 but Americans are firmly polarized AGAINST her. They'll pull the Klintonite vote but little else. She has NO foreign policy experience other than sucking face with Arafat's wife and holding some bogus woman's convention in Asia that drew, like 15 people. (YAWN).

Happy Birthday.

My 2cents....IMHO, the book will definitely impact the Electoral College vote...and, after all, that's who's actually voting for the President. It is also my opinion that they are better informed than the average citizen, because they are actually voting for the president....it seems to me they take their "job" seriously. Any of them who were in the "I'm not sure" category will be influenced.

Secondly, with the popular vote....those who are in the middle and are informed, read, and pay attention, will also be swayed against Kerry. The others, those who want handouts and more handouts, will vote for Rats, regardless of national security, because they don't care about anything but getting handouts....it's all about "me, me, me." They're short-sighted.

If the majority of the people in a state vote for Kerry you expect the Electoral College delegates of that state to vote for Bush? Based on the book?

We've seen the majority of a state vote for Bush, but the electoral college voted for Gore.

What I'm saying is that these people now have terrorism on their minds, not Rat policies first and foremost. Kerry is a danger and threat to our national security....IMHO, those of the electoral college will be influenced greatly by that one issue. Kerry's lies about his purple heart episodes in Nam, along with fellow soliders and doctors stating Kerry lied...added to his voting against funding for ammunition, etc., will be pursuasive. It is more than just the Swift Boat...it calls into question, even more so, his ability to lead, his ability to stay the course in a tough, on-going war. He's already shown himself to cut and run. Why would he not do so again, to the great harm of our country?
