Don't exactly get to zot Joe Blow. You hope you can, in a short time, convince him voting for your guy is the right thing to do.

right. But there are some we can still vilify right? The hard left?

Golly, what can I say?
You can say what you want as long as it conforms to the stated posting guidelines. What you've already said is informative and over the course of your posting history you'll make or break it on your own. As it is, judging by your words on the health insurance issue, you're leaning heavily to Socialism. Maybe you'll stay and learn why that is.
I guess a swing voter should never venture into this forum. I came here in good faith and was called a socialist and a communist and a troll.
On the contrary, swing voters are most welcome. Shills, communists/socialists and trolls should never venture into this forum. Threads like this happen to them.
At this point in time you're, as a "newbie", suspect. Lots of folks are intent on, for a lack of a better word, infiltrating, this forum. That is why you're catching heat.
Stick it out or flee. This is, pretty much, a free for all and you'll either sink or swim on your own. Consider this your initiation. Most of us went through it.
As to your "good faith" that is yet to be determined.
Thanks a lot guys. I just wanted to talk.
And I'm doing just that aren't I? Don't get daunted by it all, grow some thicker skin and stick around or flee...your call. One thing is for sure, you need to express your views more distinctly or you will be hounded.
As many have said, government sponsored health care is nothing more than encroaching socialism.

Hmmm, I wonder what sort of plant you are then. A weeping fig, perhaps? No, that's more of a tree. Hmmm, I shall have to ponder this one for a bit.

Trial lawyers and lawsuits are driving doctors out of the business.
Fewer providers and more customers means higher prices

Government mandates and regulations that make the insurance more expensive. A single guy is not going to need coverage for a hysterectomy. But government mandated it be covered and he has no choice. $$$$$ Its expensive to cover everything and without choices a lot of people choose to do without.

John Kerry wants more lawsuits, more mandates and more regulations

Kerry is BAD medicine

What we need is to allow insurance companies and customers to be able to mold a policy to fit each individual. We need to stop the crazy lawsuits, mandates and regulations that harm doctors, companies and especially patients. We need less government interference and intrusion into the healthcare system

I suggest that you go to each candidates website and educate yourself on the issues that matter to you most. Take a pad and pencil, jot down the issues that matter to you most and right "Bush" in one column, "Kerry" in the other, and check off which candidate most closely resembles your view on that particular issue. You'll find which candidate best suits you. It may not be Kerry, but, then again, it may not be Bush. You'd be surprised.

Here is your history to date... notice the sycophantic (I beieve it is the right word) tone in the cadence of the writing.... either a liberal student, prof, or agitator of some liberal ilk. Or just a fisherman/woman/person

I'd say He/She is a Democrat plant.
Perhaps and probably likely. That is exactly what is being determined isn't it. So far the words used have been very insightful in determining that very thing.
See my 162.

How pretty.

And I think that Robert Byrd agrees with me too!

Robert Byrd:

(In a senile state, verging on dementia.)

Pretty, pretty, pretty.

Better?

Yes, there cannot be a free visit to the doctor, must be some sort of payment, even if small, to keep out all those crazies who clog up ER's with stubbed toes and hangnails.
