"My question to President Bush is, Why did he rush to war without a plan to win the peace?" We are talking about peace and the middle east.....there have been so many plans and none of them work.....All we are saying is give War a Chance.

My question is why didn't Kerry vote for the authorization of force for Gulf War I if he really thinks that he needs to give the perogative to take the country to war to the president?
To: OESY
I have to laugh at the absurdity of the democrats and, unfortunately, the failure of the republicans to counter attack.
Kerry asks why did Bush go to war without a plan to win the peace. Is there a single quote by Kerry, when he voted or in the run up to the war, in which Kerry foresaw the post-war difficulties and proposed any plan to deal with it? Here's a senator, intelligence committee member, wants to be president. I think he'd have a bit more plausibility if he had been pounding on the White House door warning them of their "inadequate" plan. There is zero evidence he would have gone to war, much less done it better.

Call me cynical if you like, but I think that Kerry doesn't want to criticize anything that represents the power of the President's office bceause he has his eye on garnering that power for himself.

Very valid point. I think Kerry has no idea what he really believes. He's an opportunist of the worst sort.

See how uncomfortable she looks? Consider now: if you were worth as much as she was, and married to John Kerry, would you put yourself in a situation like this?

Its all about making himself look good. John F*ckin' is shameless when it comes to reversing a position he held just seven months prior. Then he was against the war and now he's for it. Just how stupid does he think the rest of us are?
