Yep. That'll help. Tie big supporters of Bush to the SwiftVets.
They, and Bush want no part of this.
I would imagine this explains the origin of the threatening emails the Swift Boat Vets received...
That's the $64,000 question.
I hope it costs them the entire wad of their bribe money illegal campaign contributions and blows up in their faces. They don't have any feet left to shoot.
First of all, before we all get too worked up with this, it is an ANONYMOUS SOURCE. We always question this type of sourcing for stories against Pres. Bush, thus, we should also take this with a huge grain of salt.
We have prepared what we call Brown Books that contain damaging military records, personal credit histories, medical histories, psychiatric histories, divorce records, you name it, our source told us.
This is a threat to go into their personal lives -- pure and simple. The DNC know this is below the belt gutter politics. Thus, they want to issue the threat using an anonymous source in the hope of shutting the swift boat vets up. We all know that if they follow though on the nuts and sluts defense, it'll backfire like they have never seen it before. All the vets have to do is stick to the facts and call their bluff.
But not one of them has endorsed a candidate nor are any of them running for office in any capacity. This is pure unadulterated attack dog politics.
This is going to rock the entire nation and cloud every newsworthy happenstance throughout the world.
I've never sensed such rabid entusiasm to unleash the attack dogs and start destroying lives as this since Watergate. The rats are totally freaked and their "feel good" impersonation of a suicide bomber will probably be low level TV talking heads imploding on camera.
ABCCBSNBSMSNBCFORCNN have all just contacted the temp agencies to hire extra help, it's gonna be a long week.
I'm not saying Bush supporters. I'm saying people who hate Kerry (clearly there has to be many who aren't well known Bush backers) should pony up some dough and help the Swifties.
I'll do what I can, but it's limited.
I'm just wondering where all the rich patriots are.
H. Ross Perot should even want to help the Swifties. Perot is a real soldier loving guy. Kerry has got to be on his crap list.
I'm just windering where our Soros is. Scaife is too compromised at this point. We need committed, well heeled people to counterattck these anti-American, Fifth column Leftists.
Are we gonna fight these bastards or take it up the keister?
All you wobbly freepers!
Nut up and do your duty!
"If I had a rocket launcher" (to coin a famous Canuck socialist)
I'm as pissed as I've been in a long time.
So many soft conservatives both here and in the media.
UNLESS WE STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL< THEY WILL KILL US AND OUR CULTURE....anyone disagrees with that is a naive moron.
Send money and write and call......the left used to refer to it as "lighting a prairie fire"....let's keep this one lit dammit!
You're right. Kerry's the one running for POTUS.
This Dem cheap shot is gonna backfire badly if we support the Swifites.
The Mcaulliffe-Kerry DNC is the most corrupt operation ever.
I am so grossed out by this.
bump
It's crucial that the SBV must have the money to continue running their ad(s) and the fact that station managers must have the cojones to air them.

They Report, We Intimidate
The Boston Democratic convention featured a rich side menu of interesting seminars. One of the most controversial was a workshop for new Democratic campaign press secretaries that sounded like a call to arms in its advice on how to deal with the new media universe.
Lecturers urged press secretaries to confront what one warned was "media that are no longer tilted in your direction." Bullying was openly encouraged. "When it comes to the media," suggested Democratic strategist James Carville, "intimidation works." "Challenge them," added David Brock of [Media Matters, a new liberal group set up to criticize conservative media outlets]. Democrats used to rail at the likes of Reed Irvine and his conservative group Accuracy in Media, accusing them of nitpicking at media stories and ginning up public complaints against them. No more. It will be interesting to see what, if any, "intimidation" success stories the Democrats will be touting in coming months. -
Perot's not going to get in the middle of a pissin' match between two groups of Veterans.
Why would they give info to Crushkerry.com...doesn't make any sense.
Perhaps they acted like they were with a newspaper or something.
I know I sometimes exaggerate my qualifications if a source doesn't want to talk to me; I am just editor of my college paper, but since we are printed as s ection in the town publication, I sometimes will give the town paper name if they won't talk to me otherwise.
But still, I can't imagine them talking to Crushkerry.com...unless this guy thinks it would scare off the vets. If so, they are wrong.
If they pull this crap against the vets, I will do all I can to attack Kerry and I will donate to Swiftvets.
ditto
I don't even pretend to understand military protocol, but how does anybody gain enough clout in 4 months to put anybody in for anything?
Preach it!
Any group of Vets who hitch their star to a traitor like Kerry are nothing more than collaborators.
Kerry's "Band of Brothers" are the people who should be scrutinized. What is motivating them to be Kerry's useful idiots?
It's got to be MONEY!!!
Sure it does.
The Kerry camp wants this controversy to continue!! All the way to the election!!
That FReepers are willing to help them by giving money to the Swiftvets is beyond me.
Bush is not helped, and Kerry is not hurt, by a focus on Vietnam. Vietnam is Kerry's issue. He wins on it, just having the media utter the word.
This is a loser for the GOP. We should stay away from it.
